September 10 file photo, introducing her mom
That's all the pictures I have for now. Feel free to post others you find.
I'm feeling better than usual today, MamaB. Thanks for asking. How about yourself?
I had it in queue to be first till I saw the one with Berlusconi and the one with Laura and ol' Barney.
Is that not precious!?! It looks like a posture they are used to around home. Barney sits like a little kid.
Those are good too. Has anyone seen the new Barney cam? I've heard it's out. Good old Barney! Good night all!
Please see the link in the daily summary atop the thread for the Barney Christmas video link.
Thanks!
Hi Gretchen, been looking forward to the Dose to see if that top photo of President Bush at the economic conference would make the cut. I adore that photo, because it shows the side of GWB that I most enjoy -- his irrepressible impish quality. Very busy today at work, so can't stay on the thread for more than a few moments. Thanks for posting my favorite "today's" photo of the President so early.
Yes I saw the new Barney Cam. I saw it this morning on Fox and it was adorable.
So pretty..Thank you Gretchen!
Both FOX and CNN have played it in full on their morning shows. The "story line" is corny, but the images are very cute. Barney is wonderful. And this time we even got to see a bit of Willy the cat. There's a really cute segment of President Bush giving Barney a presidential directive in the Oval Office. And Karl Rove couldn't help rubbing a little salt in Dem wounds by saying he didn't want blue bulbs on the Christmas tree, but only red ones.
thanks for the pics.
Howdy Gretchen...great pix!
My fav pic...Laura holding Barney...thanks for posting tonight.
Laura is in her element reading to those kids. You can tell she just loves it.
He is one of thousands represented by each center star. I know he will serve proudly in a land so afar.
My soldier lays awake...anticipating war ahead. He has visions of the blood he knows may be shed.
He embraces the stars and the red and white stripes. For they are the symbols...he will defend with his life.
My soldier will walk on enemy's land.... striving to bring peace throughout the desert sand.
He will often look up, into the deep blue sky and forever wonder...the real reason why.
My soldier is the one that stands so very tall...But it is he golden rope that binds them all.
They are bound to their country, their honor and pride...each one a brother, a comrade on each side.
My soldier stands ready, his gear all in tack. He knows his mission...there's no turning back.
I will try not to worry...as I pray each night alone. For the day when my soldier...returns safely home.

Your tag line caught my attending - so I had to look, your above poem caught my heart, God Bless you and your soldiers.
Hi Gretchen--hope you had a good day. THANKS for your work in gathering all these pictures!
I thought I'd seen them all, but there's a new expression in the first picture in post #3. I like it--cute!
***Barney sits like a little kid.***
What a difference in Barney's behavior since they sent him to obedience school. Remember what a little scamp he was before? LOL! I wonder if Miss Beasley is going to school just for paper training or if they'll try to get her to obey commands. Then again, maybe she's too young for that.
I saw a bit of it this AM. It's cute--Barney is searching for Ms. Beazley. I didn't see the whole thing. There's a link to it on the WH website, but my computer won't run it.
Lovely to see a picture of Laura and Barney together she does not normally get a look in LOL
