Bush not a conservative? Well, DUH! But at least he's not a hopeless Commie like JF'nK and his wife Zsa Zsa.

President Bush isn't a conservative. [...] This election did not prove the Republicans unbeatable. Bush did not win in a landslide.

Also: fire is really wet, and Helen Thomas is one hot, happenin' babe. :)

the communist direction the libs have been dragging us since 1992

1992??!!! Sorry, but your age is showing! Let's go back to 1960s, when the likes of sKerry started pushing us to the left.

No, wait, let's go back to 1950, when the Alger Hiss crowd in the State Department were selling us out to the Soviets.

No, wait, let's go back to the 1920's, when such stalwarts of American letters as Langston Hughes told us that he had seen the future in the Soviet Union.

No, wait, let's go back to Walter Duranty, New York Times "journalist," who saw Stalinism first hand and fell in love with Soviet communism. (Oh, by the way, he got a Pulitzer Prize for his "reporting" on the communist regime. But, now, 70 years later, that award is being "reviewed.")

Sorry to go on, but that's the way history is: it doesn't start with your lifetime; you have to read and learn. And the reading and learning goes on your entire lifetime (or it's not a life worth living.)

Sadly they still are radical concepts. Even those other countries that "admire" our Constitution don't like the Second Amendment.

most of us consider Bush moderate. If he is a radical what does that make us?

I recommend following James Taranto's lead and call him "Former Enron Adviser Paul Krugman."

Krugman is more shrill than any columnist I remember from the Reagan years. Calling a President a "Radical" in a major newspaper, even as an opinion columnist is in poor taste. But if the NY Times wants to further marginalize itself outside of NY leftist circles, they're welcome to.

Yeah, I have a very good friend, a fishing buddy, liberal, a good person. But he thinks me a radical because I believe in limited government. I can't get over it.

It is people like him that are trying to ruin America. It is people like us trying to stop them!

If ya'll think Krudman is bad, take a look at today's drivel from "Dick" Cohen of the Washington Post:

The Once and Future Hope?

By Richard Cohen

Thursday, November 4, 2004; Page A25

If you set out to create the perfect Democratic presidential candidate, you would probably choose someone from the South or the border states, since John Kerry lost virtually the entire region on Tuesday, and someone who is comfortable talking the language of religion and values, since John Kerry was not, and someone whose wife is identified with conventional values, and, last, someone who took a very early position against the war in Iraq, which John Kerry did not. Such a person already exists and, as luck would have it, has a name: Al Gore.

I knew when Kerry was talking about reconciliation, in his concession speech, that they were about to start round-2 of ripping the country apart.

Democrat-speak = double-speak

who the hell is Kruger?

Freddie Kruger? Head of the DNC? Or Paul Krudman, comic strip writer for the New York Times?

It's going to be fun, watching the borderline psychopaths at the NYT go completely over the edge. Is there a straight-jacket stock in which I can invest?

Had Bush been as conservative as Gingrich, he would have lost. We cannot conclude that this victory means the country is more conservative (on domestic and foreign/defense issues). Most Americans are more conservative on national security, foreign policy and defense, but more moderate on domestic issues. Bush may be conservative, but not neccessarily for less government.

Republican victory can be attributed to several things: Bush's moderating on domestic issues, Bush's conservative values, his anti-abortion stance, support for 2nd Amendment and Kerry's obsession with trusting our security to the UN and our allies. But the center of American politics has gradually been moving right since 1994, and this should continue....

Gore type candidate

Gore type, my foot! Scroll down to the Cohen lead paragraph. He was calling Gore the "perfect Democratic presidential candidate!"

I guess he means "perfect loser?"
