Married Christian father of four, shackled to Sacramento, CA. Sigh. Wish my family and I lived in Bishop, CA, or someplace like.

My first posted picture, and I obviously am missing something here. It is way out of the size I intended. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The original "size" of the image (in height and width proportions) posted like this:
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/ColdGold/PapaPacificWarPics024.jpg" height="1274" width="1641">
This is what it looks like after setting the "size" to half of the original:
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/ColdGold/PapaPacificWarPics024.jpg" height="637" width="820">
However, doing this does nothing to decrease the "size" (in bytes) which remains 120002 bytes for both postings.

Thank you for your reply; I truly appreciate it. I'll reduce the size appropriately in the HTML tags as you suggest. I'm assuming that I can reduce the "bytes"--and the "size" also--by scanning the pictures into my PC separately, and posting them one at a time.
Again, this is helpful info, thanks for replying.

What color is their flag going to be? The logical choice would be: 50% GRAY (halfway between Black and White).
Each of the "RGB" screen colors, (Red, Green, Blue) -- as expressed in HTML -- can have an intensity value between zero (BLACK) and 255 (White).
The halfway value (50%) is 128 (or in the 'hexidecimal' notation used in HTML, "#80").
The "GRAY" I used above is "Red: 50%, Green: 50%, and Blue: 50%" or "#808080".
Fortunately, most colors can be expressed in HTML by "name". There is a nice color chart with the actual colors, their HTML "names" and their hexidecimal "values" at http://www.htmlgoodies.com/colors.htm.
Unfortunately, FR's "HTML parser" apparently does not respond to HTML code using the hexidecimal (or decimal) color values...
OTOH, "Named" colors work just fine on FR. The color used for your question (above) is "Darkcyan" -- (or "#008B8B").
The HTML code that produces the large (bold) "50% GRAY" above is
<FONT COLOR="GRAY" SIZE="+6"><B>50% GRAY</B></FONT>
(This info actually belongs in FR's "The HTML Campfire" tutorial thread on how to use HTML on FR -- so I'll post it there, also...)
