oh, but there is a question for you. where did the original Irish come from?

they are Pictish, but due to their lack of writing for most of their existance (until the Roman Empire came a-knocking) thir origins are unknown... aside from, i find it hard to believe they all swam there.

my great grandmother was named Bessie MacLeod; she sailed to the US from Glascow, i think. Unfortunately, I don't know where her family came from in Scotland. her mother's maiden name was MacLennon.
(my brother traced our irish ancestry, and i traced our brit ancestry, but we haven't gotten around to tracing the scots yet.)
