Remember when Sadar was first pulling his little stunt in Najef, and the Iranians sent some big wigs to Iraq? They had just left Baghdad for Najef and someone assassinated the Minister in Baghdad. Everyone said they couldn't figure out why it happened. I figured at the time that the Minister had done something clumsy because the Iranians were already being accused of funding Sadar.

Now that this comes out, this is the best explaination of what happened.

Well, you may be getting a blue ribbon. I just saw a "ticker" saying an Arab paper says that assistant of chalabi's fled to Iran two days after the assassination.
