I think that since there are more European Americans trying to force their thinking and lifestyles on the muslims in America that they feel they MUST show that they will not change their religious customs for anybody just because euro Americans don't like it.

They might feel as though they are targeted for their beliefs now and you here so many euro Americans speaking so bad about Islam and the Muslims that I feel for many of them. I don't think any Christian would like the same type of harassment and prejudice just because Timothy Mcveigh blew up 100s of people in Oklahoma under the name of Christianity or to be looked at as racist just because the Klan say they are true Christians. I really feel that white America should check their misconceptions at the door and learn more about the good that Muslims do and the good that is in Islam. Islam in its true form is not a fanatic religion and is a religion of Peace, but extreme fanatics have hijacked Islam and now it is perverted the same as Christianity and Judaism have been perverted. I have NEVER seen anywhere in the Bible where Jesus(PBUH)told us to solve any of our problems with war and murder. If any so-called Christian can show me where Jesus said that we should kill each other for ANY REASON please show me and all of the people on FR.

What I am saying is that they may have allowed this to be well publicized to counter all of the heat the Bush Admin. is taking for soldiers sexually assaulting and unjustly killing prisoners in Iraq.I didn't mean to come off like the CIA had them do the execution, that they did on their own, but to show this atrocity to the world by our media would be a smart move for the Bush admin. to do some damage control and get people to sympathize for Berg and forget about the 1800 photos and videos showing gross torture by the hands of US soldiers.

I feel that both are wrong for going about things this way(murder and torture)and that the people will suffer the biggest losses because of the egos and greed of a few people on both sides.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'force their thinking and lifestyles'. I certainly have no problem with Muslims practicing their religion, but the tenents of the Koran must be voluntary for Muslims. Muslim women should not be forced to wear a headscarf. Nor should Muslims be using Sharia law in this country. That would be equivalent to Christians using Biblical law to resolve their disputes. A dumb idea all around.

If Muslism in this country feel threatened by White Europeans, maybe they shouldn't come here. Or they could publically announce their support for the United States and not side with their Muslim 'brothers'.

Tim McVeigh was one person. He also did not say that he was blowing up the Murrah building for Jesus. Millions of Muslims subscribe to a radical form of Islam.
