President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair arrive in the Rose Garden of the White House April 16, 2004 for a joint statement and press conference. Bush and Blair called on the Palestinians and their supporters to use Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon 's West Bank plan as an opportunity for creating a Palestinian state. They also took questions from the partisan Press on Iraq and the usual question prepared for them from the DNC

After Sharon visited with Bush at the White House, it occurred to me that this is the first time the PM has been able to complete a visit to DC without some of his people being blown up in Israel, prompting him to cut short his visit without getting the work done.

I live in Washington State. But the eastern and western halves are like two countries in politics, weather, and geography.

Last night, some of us College Republicans stood outside the post office since people were still mailing out their tax returns last minute. This vietnam vet walked up to us and talked to us for a good half hour on why he would never vote for Kerry. He said that if Dean or Edwards were elected, he would support them as president. But he would never be able to support John Kerry.
He had a really neat storty to tell.

It depends on what one likes.
I simply would not be able to hack the monotony of the topography there vs. here, but the western side is crawling with libs to the point of excluding light and air to breathe, which is very bad, IMO. I love the salt water and salt air, among other things such as two humungous mountain ranges that come with living in the Puget Sound region. To oversimplify, it is a thousand shades of green here, with gigantic mountains and fast, gushing rivers, and a few shades of "wheat" there with bigger, slower rivers. The interior of the eastern side is pretty flat over a large area. I wish everybody could come out here and see how gorgeous this place is.
Both sides have some expansive, wild mountainous areas. The eastern side has desert and a LOT of very fertile farmland (apple capital of the US, among other things; lots of fruit; wheat; wine grapes on both sides of the Cascade Mountains). Farming, vs. city dwelling, tends to produce a better quality of people in my view.
So it depends on what one likes.

There was a report just now on FOX re: 9/11 families.
Several are tired of the ones the Left keep carting out.
One woman who was on, her brother was the pilot of the
plane that went into the Pentagon. She went to D.C.
and sat in the hearings when Condi was there to support her.
She was seen after shaking her hand and speaking to her.
This woman supports the President and is also a life long
democrat.
In the recent days there have been several on
Laura Ingraham's radio show.

Actually, my earlier post should read to 'All' NOT to 'DrDeb'!
I just want to warn everyone that Bob Woodward's new NOVEL will be released next week (I'm sure it thoroughly trashes the President) -- Woodward will promote the book on, where else, 60 Minutes this weekend!!!! YAWN!
I'm pretty sure this represents the last of the MAJOR hit books (at least until October) -- Kerry's still negotiating with Clinton as to the actual release date of his (Clinton's) book (GAG!).
Night all!

I have been waiting for word from The Elijah List because I've felt some confusion has been stirring in the Body of Christ over Pastor Kim Clement's prophecy regarding March 11, 2004, and Easter. Here is the link to what was posted today.
From Kim Clement's web site: Kim Clement
Excerpt: " I am accountable to God and if this explanation does not make sense then I will be corrected by my leadership. I however, do not think that this prophetic utterance is a mistake. Instead the word has been misinterpreted because of assumptions made concerning the phrase, "bring out your greatest enemy, meant, "capture." Indeed this will happen, but when exactly we don't know."
ORIGINAL WORD excerpt
This is the original prophecy that I gave in Utica, New York, in January [2004]. The word that I gave on TBN a few days later was simply a repeat of what I had prophesied in New York: "This Easter will be one of the greatest Easters this nation has ever celebrated. Why? Because there will be a resurrection of the dead, spiritually speaking, of revelation that has died, of prophetic words that have died and been buried in the ground. This Easter, not only will I bring your greatest enemy out, but I will also bring about a severe judgment against the powers and principalities that have come against My servants and against My people. There shall be a judgment. ...
Al Qaeda shall be exposed shortly. There has been a threat that has come from them, and there has been a threat spoken out by Osama bin Laden that within 35 days the USA shall experience a catastrophic event. But even as I brought out the other rogue from the hole in the ground, in the same period that bin Laden predicted catastrophe against this nation, I shall bring him forth, I shall raise him out of his own hiding place, and I will bring him to a place of accountability."
I did not use the word "capture" during that prophecy, but ultimately this "bringing out" will lead to his capture."
If anyone wants the full Email with some very helpful insights from Steve Shultz and Bob Jones, please FReepmail me.

Oh very interesting! You'll have to let me know what you discover!
My mother's family (both sides) are from Alsace (eastern France). When I expressed interest in that ancestry, her response was they were "just a bunch of peasants" LOL.. But, many records were destroyed between the 2 Wars which would probably make such a task exceedingly difficult. My grandfather's hometown was absolutely levelled during WWII.
My father's side though- has a alot of info and records. He even wrote a little book on one branch with some historical relevance.
Anyway- it's just really alot of fun!
