Eventually, only criminals will live in big cities. Criminals don't do near as well in a rural environment.

The danger with Purse-Snatching is if the strap doesn't break...dragging the owner down the street. In Fun City...the old boys used to carry 2 wallets...one with a couple of dollars in it (the Sacrificial one)...the other, better-hidden one, for real. Cops wear clip-on ties...wise Security folks sometimes scissor their attractive ties in the back, and tape them back together. Benjamin Franklin, in Paris, sewed fish-hooks into his pockets...which is rather brave...since the bad guy is virtually stuck to one...and not very amused. If legal...I would have carried an exploding wallet, with a timer fuse...but alas....
Just a question...did the naturalized, perhaps, Patrolmen actually "save my life," or just retrieve/return her presumably expensive, empty handbag from a trash bin, and return it to H.Q....? They did an exemplary job, regardless...and we should all be proud of them.

It's always the Wombats.
They're everywhere.

(Ignore the wombats, they're a diversion! My 3 million psychotic chinchilla army is the real threat!)
