Sweet. Great show, raw random funniness, you never knew what to expect. Why Fox couldn't settle it in a timeslot and let it grow will be one of the big mysteries of TV.

I hope that instead Cartoon Network gets to bring it back and show all the new episodes. McFarlane should tell Fox to go to hell.

Best wishes to the most delightfully
subversive cartoon ever made!

FOX, if you can do this, with the proper promotion,
you WILL have a 10-year+ franchise on your hands,
just like the Simpsons.

The right people 'get' this show, and there are plenty of 'us.'

How many times has this show been on-again, off-again on the Fox Network?

Perhaps an e-mail campaign is in order here, as this report might be a trial balloon from Fox (or McFarland), trying to gage public interest.

I'm not a "Family Guy" fan in the least, but I've got my own story...

I saw Shep Smith run the story of the "Family Guy" getting a new season after cancellation and immediately thought "Hey! What about the announcement Farscape is getting a miniseries after its cancellation?!" Shep, God bless him, ran the news on Farscape (and a great clip of the show) right after. I hope Brian Henson tells SCIFI to go to hell and gives the miniseries to a more worthy network!

Quagmire: Who wants to play the game drink the beer?
Peter: Oooo right here!
(Peter takes a sip of his beer)
Quagmire: You win!
Peter: Alright! What do I win?
Quagmire: Another beer!
Peter: Oh, I'm going for the high score
Quagmire: Well actually Charlie has the high score...
(Shows a man with his pants down taking a pee in a clock)
Charlie: Hey man, your clock won't flush!

Family Guy definately was ADULT fare, but it was a GREAT SHOW! Fox killed it by frankly not giving it a time slot and sticking to it! I loved the show and went out of my way to watch it and still had trouble finding it on a regular basis!

If they bring it back, PUT IT IN A TIMESLOT AND LEAVE IT ALONE!!!
