He's heard this over and over. He doesn't CARE. He's enjoying punching our buttons. He's made the same nauseating, lying points over and over and he's probably sitting there with his friends laughing at the pain he's causing.

I have no interest addressing your pro-death idiocy. I've wasted my time responding to your pro-sodomy spew before to no avail. I will not waste another second responding to your vile opinions on this case. They are beneath contempt.

Show me anything I have posted that is either pro-sodomy or pro-death.

The fact is you can't.

This proves your arguments are so weak that you need to distort the positions of those who disagree with you..in order to respond at all.

Whenever you feel up to debating anything I have actually posted, I welcome it.

All I can say is that common sense for poor Terri went out the window. The first time the judge knew the husband had a girlfriend he no longer fit the profile of a protective guardian and he should have been removed immediately. Like a Rep. said about Michael Schiavo. He has another woman and kids with her. It is doubtful that Terri would want him making ANY life and death decision about her.

Thanks, Julie. See #522. They were told she was already being hydrated.

AP and FoxNews 10 PM news break both say Terri's being rehydrated. Both said so earlier when it wasn't yet true.

FV says "YES". I'm believing because if the medical professionals are lying about this, they are in trouble - big time.

So I guess according to your superior morality, those who give terminal cancer patients increasing doses of morphine to spare them the suffering of the last stages of this terrible disease...are evil and monstrous devils because these people might be able to suffer through a few more months of cancer without the morphine.

The problem with your argument is .. Terry is NOT terminally ill .. she is not dying

There is a difference

There are experts and then there are experts. Court cases can end up being Dueling Experts, with each side's experts testifying for what they're being paid (they rarely do it gratis) for by each side. Once every year the attorneys I work with get a big fat book of the names, addresses, phone, fax & e-mail of experts, listed by category. Some experts don't practice in their field anymore--they just testify for their fees.

One of the best expert witness I've seen is Dr. Park Dietz, who convinced a jury that Jeffrey Dahmer was sane--he just liked to kill and eat people.

If they now conclude that she is in a permanent vegative state then they comitted perjury because michael's lawyer[s] paraded rehabilitative specialists after rehabilitative specialists and doctors on the witness stand during his malpractice lawsuit and they all testified under oath that she was rehabilitatable.

If you want to defend a bunckh of murderers, at least have the decency to do it on another thread.

Nobody here knows what Terri wants, or whether God wants a person in a permanent vegetative state kept alive by a machine for decades or not.

If God wants to call someone home, none can stop him. Keeping a soul-less body alive may be an excercise in futility, but if the soul's not in the body I don't think it really matters one way or the other.

This case, however, was not about Terri's "right to die". It was about an attempt to murder Terri for profit.

I can't wait for a guardian ad litem to order an audit of Terri's trust fund. If Michael's been raiding the cookie jar, that would establish a criminal motive for killing Terri. Attempting to kill someone with criminal motive is attempted murder.

Frankly, at this point in the game I'm almost surprised Felos and Greer are still trying to kill Terri. I don't think her death at this point would prevent an investigation into some of what's been going on, and if they're going to get caught it would be better to be convicted of attempted murder than murder in the first degree.

Though admittedly that may be irrelevant if my other suspicions about Felos and Greer are correct. Methinks Terri isn't the first person they've murdered for profit--just the first one who refused to die like she was supposed to.

I'll say this much...the Jacksonville news stations waffle from describing her as comatose and vegetative yet they did an interview last week with a neurologist who says she is definitely responsive

and I never read the following today when I was doing some digging....why and how was the GAL in 2000 removed.....
the GAL disagreed with M Schiavo and Felos

Also from my understanding much if not all of the court documents have been sealed....and why??

In June 1998, soon after Michael asked the court for permission to remove Terri's feeding tube, the court appointed Richard Pearse as Terri's guardian ad litem. His job was to investigate the facts of Terri's case and represent her interests in court.

At the 2000 trial, Pearse concluded that he had not found clear and convincing evidence that Terri would have rejected life support.

Pearse said he was troubled by the fact that Michael waited until 1998 to petition to remove the feeding tube, even though he claims to have known her wishes all along, and that he waited until he won a malpractice suit based on a professed desire to take care of her into old age. As her husband, Michael would inherit what is left of her malpractice award, originally $700,000, which is held in a trust fund administered by the court. Accounting of the fund is sealed. But Michael's lawyer, George Felos, said most of it has been spent on legal fees associated with the custody dispute.

Pearse also said he did not find Joan and Scott Schiavo's testimony credible.

Greer ruled in Michael's favor. Appeals by the Schindlers failed. A state appeals court upheld Greer's decision; the Florida and U.S. supreme courts declined to hear the case. And on April 24, 2001, hospice staff stopped feeding her. But two days later Pinellas County civil court Judge Frank Quesada ordered that feeding be resumed when evidence suddenly surfaced suggesting that Michael never really knew what Terri's wishes were.

and again...Felos admitted the money has been used for legal fees....WHY IS THIS NOT BEING CHECKED INTO???

And I might add that when Christopher Reeves first had his accident .. that they were going to pull the plug but ended up not doing so .. And Reeves himself said he was glad that they didn't

You are trying to get this thread pulled and silence our discussion by provoking us with namecalling and lies. WHY?

The fact is if this woman had a written living will, saying she didn't want to be kept alive by artificial means in a permanent vegetative state, the hospital would be forced to abide by it.

It may very well be a blessing she did NOT leave a written living will. Felos and dear hubby would have killed her the day after the malpractice settlement. Hubby has been known to enter her room exclaiming, "Isn't the b-- dead yet?" and Felos says she died 13 years ago and a house plant. Another thing, she is NOT in a permanent vegetative state, or at least wasn't until possibly after being off fluids for 6 days. And lastly, most people don't consider a mere feeding tube as being kept alive by artificial means. At one time she was able to swallow but hubby put a stop to that. A feeding tube falls into a medical aid category much like dialysis which is quite different from a ventilator.

It's after 10PM and we have to go to bed. We'll sleep easier if we *KNOW* Terri is being rehydrated. Is there *real* news one way or the other?
