Sybrina Fulton has earned another big-time national endorsement in her Miami-Dade County Commission race, as U.S. Sen. Cory Booker says he’ll be backing Fulton’s bid.
Booker, who is currently running for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, joins former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in supporting Fulton. Clinton announced her support late last week.
Fulton is the mother of Trayvon Martin, who was shot and killed in an altercation with George Zimmerman back in 2012. She’s competing against Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert III for the District 1 Commission seat.
Booker referenced the 2012 shooting in his announcement supporting Fulton’s campaign.
“Sybrina Fulton would have had every right to be overcome by anger and despair after the death of her son Trayvon Martin,” Booker said.

if Trayvon’s mother had parenting skills that extended at all beyond the orgasm, Trayvon would probably still be alive today.
Trayvon was actually raised by his step-mother Alicia Stanley. His biological mother, Sybrina Fulton was not in his life since he was a very young child until just up to the time he was killed.
Trayvon’s biological father left Alicia Stanley to date another woman, and he then gave up custody to Sybrina Fulton when Trayvon was 16. That’s when his life really took a turn downhill.
Trayvon apparently most cared for Alicia Stanley and was reported to have said to George Zimmerman as he died: “tell momma Licia I’m sorry.”
His own parents were cretins who set the kid up for a life of failure.
That’ll work out great. Her son’s death sure has turned into a lucrative career for Ms. Fulton.
I’m sure that carries a lot of weight for people to choose her.
Brown didn't live with the bitch. He lived with his grandmother. McSpadden was shacked up with some man other than the biological father. They were/are scum. Scum that was held up and 'honored' by the obama scum; Holder et al along with our very own Missouri democrat governor Jay Nixon.
Darren Wilson, the cop that shot Brown, was exonerated but his life was ruined. McSpadden was awared over a million dollars in the 'wrongful' death lawsuit even though the evidence clearly showed that the thug charged officer Wilson and he shot Brown in self defense.
Anyway, she ran for city council in Ferguson....and got her ass kicked. Came in third....out of 3. Small satisfaction but still...
Sure he does, white privileged cockeyed cory, supporting the mother of a hoodlum child for elected office, I’m sure she carrys no blame for her non parenting skills and her hatred for those who killed her innocent little boy
