Republicans couldn't ask for much more, as far as driving another nail into the coffin of the Democratic party. It would severely marginalize not only the CBC, and illustrate precisely how irrelevant, powerless, and overtly partisan it is, but it would bleed over onto the Democrat party as a whole, making them look totally unhinged, extreme, and without America's best interest at heart.
I mean, we're talking about Maxine waters being the face of the impeach movement! It would be great for the GOP, because every member of the Democrat Congressional contingent would have to take a stand on the issue.
It would be the gift that keeps on giving—and a powerful recruitment tool for the Republican party.
If the Democrat party leadership has any sense at all, they'll take Maxine to the woodshed and quash this nonsense forthwith.
