It's been nearly seven months since Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump. Now, she’s re-emerging onto the national scene to give a window into her post-election life.
New York magazine released on Friday next week's cover story, in which Clinton shares her reflections on the campaign, election night, sexism, James Comey, and slew of other topics.
Below, excerpts from the the 8,000-word-plus article:
ON TRUMP’S DECISION TO FIRE FBI DIRECTOR JAMES COMEY: “I am less surprised than I am worried... Not that he shouldn’t have been disciplined. And certainly the Trump campaign relished everything that was done to me in July and then particularly in October.” But “having said that, I think what’s going on now is an effort to derail and bury the Russia inquiry, and I think that’s terrible for our country.”
ON LISTENING TO TRUMP’S INAUGURATION SPEECH: "It was a really painful cry to his hard-core supporters that he wasn't changing… The 'carnage' in our country? It was a very disturbing moment. I caught Michelle Obama's eye, like, What is going on here? I was sitting next to George and Laura Bush, and we have our political differences, but this was beyond any experience any of us had ever had."(continued)

Wellesley College....she is even more shot out than when on the trail. Her grating voice needs to be stopped. What an arrogant bitch. The crowd was worse than her.....such dolts and easily led....they are the ones “prone” to violence.
I’m sure the special counsel will delight in following up the trail Hillary and he gang left.

A credible reporter would’ve challenged that narrative with a followup question about her own Russian ties, the Clinton Foundation’s Russian ties, and Podesta’s Russian ties.
Hillary’s national press corpse and celebrity TV handlers at ABCNNBCBS still have HER in full mid-October campaign moan. (er, mode).
I think it is BOTH Hillary AND the press that can’t get over Nov 8. That somehow, this is still their glory daze of summer 2016.
Can we please stop giving this cow attention?

Hear Hear!! I was hoping to not see or hear her name again or at least not more than 10 times a year but she has still managed to weasel her way into the news. I do wish people would stop posting anything about her here on FR at least.
All of Hillary’s rantings are proof-positive America did the right and honorable thing electing Trump-—by rejecting this execrable entitled woman as our president.
These Clintons need to shut up and go away——they and their dumb daughter are the epitome of the power-mad types the Founders warned us about.
They don’t belong in our govt......a republic of, by, and for the people.
The Clintons act like they’re self-employed-—that all the assets of the govt, its treasure and its awesome power, belongs to them........ personally.
If she would address her personal history of greed and corruption that would be news. Hillary was a miserable candidate — PERIOD. A two-time front runner for the presidency, she lost twice to long shot opponents. If the DNC had not rigged the nomination process, she may have lost to Crazy Bernie Sanders at the convention.

I don’t want FR to turn into a Hillary-free safe space. If the witch is making trouble, it’s news because the media will drool over every word of wisdom that spews out of her disgusting mouth.
The indictments can’t come soon enough. The waiting is the hardest part.

I agree, we are not “snowflakes”, we can and do seek out alternate versions of the truth. FreeRepublic would be worthless if alternate views were not presented.
For those that do not want to read about her (or others with opposite views) it is easy, skip it. There are many subjects on FreeRepublic that do not interest me. I simply do not bother to do more then skim the description and move on.
Over the course of my (long) life I have changed my personal views from when I was a young pup to what I believe in today. If not exposed to contrary opinions that metamorphosis would not have occurred.
Perhaps that is why the left is trying to “protect” the minds full of mush on college campuses today. They do not what them to question the “true faith”. Adults do not fear other points of view, children do.
