Altamahaw (United States) (AFP) - While many see Donald Trump's presidency as a slow-motion car crash, the core voters who elected him are standing by their man, shrugging off the scandals and thrilled he is sticking it to Washington's establishment.
That was a common view at the auto races at Ace Speedway in rural North Carolina, where America's stock car racing tradition was born.
"I think the Democrats are trying to make things hard for him," Robin Hall said as she sat in the grandstands on Friday.
The 53-year-old daycare worker dismissed the chaos cascading into the White House in recent weeks as sour grapes from critics still shocked that Trump's populist revolt thrust him into the top job.
"They've got their so-called panties in a wad right now," she said. "They're not in control."
Exactly four months into his administration, Trump is by most accounts a leader under siege.
Democrats accuse him of obstructing justice by urging FBI director James Comey to halt an investigation into an adviser, then firing Comey -- the very person overseeing an investigation into his team's possible collusion with Russian meddling during last year's election campaign.
Reports have since emerged that the president passed secret intelligence to Russian officials during a recent meeting, and that the FBI has identified a senior White House official as a "significant person of interest" in its probe into Russian interference....

1) Comey was protecting Clinton, Abedin and Susan Rice among other seditious traitors who must be brought to justice, whichi is why all of the caterwauling around Comeys dismissal. Comey served at the pleasure of the president period. His termination was not an obstruction of justice but a legitimate exercise of constitutional power.
2) The president did not release classified information to the Russians. And even if he did, President Trump has the lawful,constitutional authority to declassify and release any information he chooses.Both Russia and Israel have said there was no classified information released by President Trump. Both Israel and Russia have publicly stated that the New York Times and the Washington Post have yet again gone down another bunny hole, like Alice in Wonderland.
The Clintons, Abedin and Susan Rice are now feeling the cold steel of justice caressing their putrid flesh. And that has the media twitching like a re-animated corpse.

Would someone please tell me what the “scandal” is? I was at a dinner the other nite with a client, usually avoid politics although they are mostly Republican. One of the young guys was preening about “Impeachment”. I said maybe you are correct but impeachment requires “high crimes and misdemeanors”. Just where is the crime, of any type? He just stared at me because there is no answer. I replied as well that how is it that the Clintons can sell 20 percent of our uranium to the “Russians”, get multimillion dollar contributions to the Clinton Foundation as a result and this is not on its face bribery or at least worth investigating? No answer.
Never mind the absolute absence of evidence or provable support for their claims, simply that they have told us these things should be enough for us to accept their complete truth.

The Dem party has lost it’s authority to lead the liberal agenda therefore the MSM has taken that authority upon themselves . They ( the MSM ) practice and use the Alynski model to now destroy anyone who opposes their agenda and they use their 24hr news programs to indoctrinate the public to their liberal positions . They use undisclosed sources they call reliable to create a foundational narrative and report on it as if it were a fact over and over . Then the Dem party leaders pick up the narrative to follow “behind” the MSM who now leads them through the deep state of Treasonous actions against a duly elected President . The MSM now controls the DNC and dictates to them .
They fail to comprehend this is much more a reflection of their complete lack of credibility than it is a result of blind loyalty to Trump.
I studiously avoid media outlets because they are so entirely predictable and have not one shred of objectivity. Going to them for news is like checking the time with a stopped clock.
We need a coordinated effort to target and “primary” all the weasels in Congress. We need names.
