JON OSSOFF: A VICTORY FOR THE AGES!!
Well, not exactly…
What he actually won is the opportunity to get defeated in a runoff election by Karen Handel on June 20. This appears to be a slam dunk assuming the Republican voters of District 6 in Georgia will be intelligent enough to get behind their candidate and vote Ms. Handel in.
This may be a bit presumptive. There seems to be an unhealthy attitude that has crept into the psyche of some Republicans lately: “If my guy can’t win, I’ll stay home.”
If Ossoff wins the seat that has been in Republican control since everybody’s favorite, Newt Gingrich, held it, the Dimms can claim a symbolic victory that will afford them the impetus to attack the Trump agenda with renewed vigor.
The Dimms (that’s Lou Dobbs’ term, I wish it was mine) are obviously in desperation mode now and they, with the constant complicity of the Lame Stream (fake news) Media, are lashing out at any ridiculous claim of impropriety by anyone on the Trump team. Witness the eight months they’ve wasted frantically trying to make something of the Trump/Putin “bromance”.
They will say or do literally anything that will allow them to put some points on the board, regardless how small, and an Ossoff win will do it for them.
On a related subject, the Trump steamroller seems to have temporarily bogged down lately. The clumsily prepared Repeal and Replace Obamacare Bill, the Tax Reform Bill, the Border Wall all seem to have ground to a halt.
This is not Donald Trump’s fault! He’s been going a mile-a-minute living up to his campaign promises, like the Energizer Bunny. His highly qualified cabinet members have been performing their duties like the skilled professionals that they are. But Congress, as usual, doesn’t seem to be on the same page.
Let’s face it, guys, Donald Trump is the reason that you are in the driver’s seat right now. You have the numbers in the House and Senate, he’s given you the White House, it’s up to you to hammer out your differences and give President Trump what he needs to Make America Great Again!! If you succeed in squandering this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that has been dropped in your lap, it could herald the end of the Republican Party (and, hopefully, the end of your political careers).
In a parallel universe called NPR last night, they considered what happened a huge victory for Democrats and that Republicans need to be very worried. They ignored that this is not exactly a republican stronghold any more, though Trump did win it, barely. And they put a postitive spin on all the money he spent.
One interesting thing they mentioned, ignoring it’s implications, is that this “prooves” that democrats can fight for “victory” even where they would not have in the past.
iow, they think Democrats have unlimited funds, because that is what their idea would take.

The fake media and the political pundit class are totally misreading this district.
In Nov 2016 this district voted overwhelmingly for GOP-E Senator Johnny Issacson but voted weakly for Trump. The Fake Media is claiming this show the “district is changing”. No what actually happened is the Never Trumpers convinced a lot of GOP voters to vote but not vote for Trump. Saw the same pattern in FL, NC and other states. The GOP Senator won convincingly while Trump did less well in the same areas.

It not a purple district at all. They are totally ignoring the vote totals for the GOP senator from this district in Nov 2016 for GOP Senator Johnny Issacson.
What happened to this district is a lot of Never Trumpers in this GOP-E district went and voted GOP in Nov 2016 but did not vote for Trump
This is a pretty common result in GA politics. Democrat “star” candidate, wildly hyped by the fake media, does ok against a widely split GOP field then gets beat in the run off when going head to head against the GOP.
Ever since DNC’s Perez “predicted” the Dems would sweep every race based on “resistance” to Trump, the Dem losses just keep getting bigger. I guess Perez’s right-hand man Muslim Cong Ellison, turned Georgia around for them. (smirk)
B/C Ossoff went full Allah-is-Great Muslimite. Georgians are anxiously awaiting Ossoff’s plans to mandate tax-funded clitorecotomies on little Georgian schoolgirls.
Clitorectomy is a mandated Muslim practice.

Maybe Ossoff and Ellis can get the “tolerant and compassionate” Meryl Streep and the unbigoted Michelle Obama to join in having their little girls get clitorectomies.
Maybe diversity queen, Rosie O’Donnell, should have it done....just to show her camaraderie w/ Muslims banished by that bad old Trump.
Some Republicans are saying Osoff doesn’t even live in Georgia, he actually lives in D.C. He doesn’t have a GA address, he says he lives with his girlfriend in GA as a way to claim residency. This goes beyond the fact he doesn’t live in the district he’s trying to represent.
Handel’s campaign slogan should be what Rick Lazio’s should have been: “I actually live here”. Everything has been nationalized since Hitlery came onto the political scene. Ding-dong the witch is dead, but these millennial weenies are the heirs apparent to the celebrity money assault on the political scene. Republicans need to play for keeps. When they get back from their little recess, they better have some fight in them, or the Dimms (and I’m certain Lou Dobbs borrowed this from a Freeper although I can’t prove it) will be back.

Democrats have been having a lot of great victories lately.
First they won the presidency, where Hillary got more votes than Trump.
Then they won that congressional seat in Kansas, because the vote count was closer than “expected”.
And this week, Olaf... err... I mean, Ossof won in Georgia, because he got the most votes, and that’s how one wins elections. Never mind that the REAL election comes in a few weeks.
Republicans better be worried, because with all that “winning”, democrats will be taking over the congress in a matter of months.
Between this “big victory”, Chaffez, and O’Reilly getting fired the DUmmies have been having their best week since November...but this too will change. Bigly.
