President-elect Donald Trump ran on a platform of being extremely tough on immigration. One of his vows to voters was that he’d get rid of President Barack Obama’s executive actions, which could include those that provided protections to young undocumented immigrants from being deported.
One Republican lawmaker and Trump critic is now prepping legislation that would keep those protections in place in case Trump moves forward with his pledge. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has said he is working with both Democrats and Republicans in order to protect immigrants, known as Dreamers, who willingly came forward to give their information in order to receive permits to work legally under Obama’s 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
According to Politico, Graham stated that something needs to be done to help those who embraced DACA.
“The worst outcome is to repeal the legal status that these kids have,” Graham said Wednesday...

My biggest fear is the Graham and another Rino will switch parties, and give the Dems the Senate majority.

Lindsay, you’ll have to pass that legislation over a presidential veto, and that assumes the House would jump off the cliff with you (it won’t). If Trump wants to withdraw Obama’s decree, there isn’t much you can do about it.
What legal status? How come Lindsey isn’t interested in getting these interlopers off college campii and increasing the potential for US citizens to attend college?

Funding to Domestic Programs Being Cut to Fund Illegal Immigrant Minors

The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reports that the Department of Health and Human Services is cutting funding to domestic programs to pay for room and board for illegal alien youths. HHS must come up with $167 million to cover the costs to feed and shelter the unaccompanied minors through December 9 and has turned to other programs, including Medicare, for the money. And while the programs from which the money is being transferred are unconstitutional uses of taxpayer dollars, the move underscores that the American people are not this administration’s priority.
