Probably, folks are just plain being nice to Romney. They don't seriously believe he'd possibly win the Presidency.

Other than both having wealthy dads, or having to deal with well-heeled fellow wealthy associates and lavish lifestyle, what else could it be? Romney world has always been insular, whereas Trump has indeed experience with actual Blue-Collar Joes.
