Exactly. She gonna let Trump castigate an empty chair for 90 minutes? I don’t think so. Remember, she loses, prison or flight is her next stop.

"Is America these days that stupid?"

Probably. We will find out for certain on November 8.

The article is an obvious Clinton campaign staff trial balloon of some sort.

The writer is in the tank for Hillary—(normal hint, lying about polls and treating fake polls like they were fair).

Trump did clean her clock in the last debate.

I am ok with her skipping the third one—it probably is a wash as to how it affects the outcome.

There will be no empty chair if she doesn’t debate.

Not only will Hillary’s MSM allies stop them from happening, they would propagandize 24-7 about how her lead is so huge that the election is already over.

That actually appears to be their main theme these days (along with personal attacks on Trump).

A debate is actually inconsistent with their own propaganda.

Why would you debate if you have a huge lead and are terrified your opponent is going to sexually molest you on stage? :-)

One more thought—how about this for Hillary “spin”.

Her staff leaks (creates) articles that Hillary was terrified by big mean Donald Trump on stage, and was afraid that the crazed lunatic was going to attack her at any moment.

Then they create a few more fake women stories about Donald physically striking women.

See-I can run a sleazy Hillary campaign—if they pay me $250K I am there! ;-)

“Is America these days that stupid?”

In a word? Yes.

Propaganda does work even today.

I do not discuss politics in the workplace but one of my co-workers, a liberal middle aged guy, brought it up in passing.

He wasn’t following the campaign very closely, he said because...

wait for it...

this is good.

“because Hillary has it in the bag so what’s the point”.

I smiled and said nothing.

(I am a great actor btw...)

If true
Internal polling must show her in the lead
So why risk a 3rd debate

Debate III advice:
1) Open by listing 7 or 8 of her biggest lies to the American people and Congress

2) Talk directly to the people, not to her, or to the moderator except to briefly answer his question

3) Each time she alleges something tawdry, dismiss it as yet another lie

4) “Pivot” to a list of 8 critical, defining issues:
- Secure borders / vetting
- Trade and jobs
- Ending Obamacare
- Taxes
- Regulations
- Energy: “all of the above”
- Ending cronyism
- Defeating ISIS, not war with Russia

Hillary was owned in the second debate. Trump will only do better in a third.

Her supporters want her to go into hiding while the media continues to carry her water and launch attack after attack at Trump. It’s her only hope.

If they debate, Trump will have the opportunity to pitch his new “shackles are off” speech to the masses.

Are there any polls that don’t show her in the lead, nationally?

If she withdraws, Trump should debate an empty chair.
I see no need for any further charades in any event.

I’d rather see Trump beat her in front of millions of viewers. But, if she wants to drop out, let her. She will look rather cowardly to most, I believe. It will be like she’s trying to avoid all the questions that the Wikileaks disclosures have been revealing about her and her staff.

The truth revealed is HRC is a ‘fraidy cat’. Afraid to be on stage with Donald, afraid he’ll beat her senseless with words (no great feat there), afraid she’ll cease and be unable to speak, or collapse and fall? Why so fearful? Is the woman a pussy cat and afraid to come face to face with the LION? Give her a bowl of cream and leave her purring for more. Excuse me, but there is nothing HISTORIC about her lead. It only proves she has one and like dogs everywhere, generally has one. She also has eyes that cross, a mouth that spews, and a disability (which I refuse to mock).
Meow!

Clinton has been running a non-campaign from day one. She has a relative handful of tiny rallies sandwiched between fundraisers, and “organizing events”. She has depended almost exclusively on the media to do the heavy lifting of actually campaigning, and massive amounts of negative ads. When she needs conventional campaigning, the kind that requires actual human contact, she calls on Bill, Biden, 0bama, Sanders, Gore, and more lately Michelle 0bama.

Although I’m optimistic that Trump will win, because how stupid would Americans have to be to elect the scandal ridden Clintons back into the White House? But, when I think that, I also remember that I was convinced that Americans weren’t stupid enough to elect 0bama, but they were, TWICE.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens on November 8th.

I see Chris Wallace as a wild card. He is not a wanna be trying to make a reputation like the others. He is more likely to say ‘pox on both of you’ and ask them both equally inconvenient questions. He has too much integrity to just ask softball questions. While he may prefer Clinton, I don’t think he is really in her camp. He probably dislikes both and may act on that. Trump can handle, Clinton less likely.
