The Democrat aims to ignore the email and Foundation controversies, seeing a shrinking calendar as her friend.
She is not planning on sitting for another televised armchair confessional to rehash regrets about a private email server. Nor is the campaign setting up the kind of war room employed last year to discredit a book that aimed to expose a quid-pro-quo relationship between Clinton Foundation donors and State Department officials.
With 75 days until Election Day and new emails once again casting a pall over her campaign, Hillary Clinton aims to “run out the clock,” confidants say, on the latest chapters of the overlapping controversies that have dogged her campaign since the start.
According to allies and operatives close to the campaign, Clinton’s team thinks “they can ride out” any negative reaction to a set of new emails that show Clinton Foundation officials trying to set up State Department meetings for donors during her tenure as the nation's top diplomat.
“That doesn’t mean no response,” one Clinton team insider said, “but a muted one rather than a five-alarm fire.”
It's a strategy borne, in part, of a belief held deeply by Clinton herself that the email controversy is a fake scandal and that voters are as sick of it as the candidate herself — and by the profound weaknesses of Clinton's opponent....

I seriously doubt that Trump will convert any Clinton voters, to himself.
He needs to energize Republicans, Independents, and folks that generally don’t vote, to come out and vote for him.
To do this he must talk over, around regular media.
She can’t hide from a Trump barrage reminding voters of her corruption with their nightly news. But he needs to realize the “Hispanic vote” means NOTHING and keep his immigration stance firm, or he’ll be reamed like Romney.

Debates are a form of suicide for Republicans. It’s just a little awkward for Democrats. For Hillary, it will be made a cake walk.

That may be what Hillary herself does but expect a full frontal attack on Trump from her minions. It will likely come timed to preclude any response or defense by Trump.
Hillary has enough against her that anyone else would be awaiting trail on numerous counts.

I think you’re right. Slowly dying while slouching your way into the history books as the “first female president” isn’t a very pretty thing to watch. I imagine if she wins, we’ll never see her again. She’ll be like “the man behind the curtain” in Oz.

That “Mr. Brexit,” was to speak in Mississippi had been forgotten. That he had requested an OK from the TRUMP campaign and given access to look around and see how it ran, was not. We saw today that not only was he given the pass to look around, he was given Center Stage to make some points in Mr. Trump’s favor. “She couldn’t pay me to vote for her!” Well, certainly not, she never paid for anything with her own money. Like Mo and BO, they use American Taxpayer’s money Thank you Mississippi. you’ve given our English neighbors a warm welcome and the country an uplifting experience.
