The No. 1 trending question related to Donald Trump on Google right now is "Who tried to shoot Trump?" Which means a lot of people don't know the answer. Which is probably because the assassination attempt on the presumptive Republican presidential nominee hasn't been covered as a major news story.

The answer, authorities say, is Michael Steven Sandford, a 20-year-old British citizen who was in the United States illegally after overstaying his visa. Sandford allegedly tried to pull a gun from the holster of a police officer at a Trump rally in Las Vegas on Saturday. He was arrested and later told the Secret Service that he had driven to the event from California and had been planning to kill the candidate for a year, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Nevada.
News outlets have certainly reported on the incident, but it hasn't gotten anything resembling wall-to-wall coverage. Cable news shows devoted little time to Sandford Tuesday morning and afternoon....

I think the point is that it was an amateurish, failed attempt and it’s kind of de facto that if (God forbid) he is ever assassinated the media will play it off as something he had coming because he supported the 2A.
We all know he’s in grave danger and he’s smart enough to know it too.

There were at least a half dozen metro(Las Vegas Officers) close enough to pounce on him if he had got the gun from the officer. I doubt he would of ever have gotten a shot off. That being said a real pro would have nailed the Donald from that position in the theater.

To have a grip on the pistol is an attempt.
I have to wonder if the guy had somehow managed to clear the pistol from the cops holster, and get a round fired off in Trump’s general direction, if there wasn’t somebody else already waiting to take an accurately placed shot from a suppressed weapon.

Probably best not to give other loonies any ideas. The media and their political side are beyond bias, they are intolerant and dangerous, though maybe a tiny bit cautious because so far any violence has come only from their groupies meanwhile the citizens who are in revolt have been overwhelmingly non-violent. The msm’a secret wish is if only the libs could disarm the non-violent, then they could take away conservative’s right to vote too. And then they would have their version of peace which would be something like the Roman colosseum happening across the country. The media and libs think Trump and his followers are dangerous, when in reality the people they support are the dangerous ones and most often the violent ones. TALISKER had just as good a point. The MSM and UNIPARTY are trying to diminish this incident, because it might make voters change their mind about Trump if it was a widely published as, for example , the GORILLA/KID incident.

It’s more of a hell if you do, hell if you don’t situation.(in regards to the reporting of the ‘attempt’)
