I just recently received my ballot to vote and I have no idea on who to vote for on the replacement of Senator Boxer. There are several Republican Senators running. I would love to hear Freepers suggestion. Thank You.

TOPICS: California; State and Local; U.S. Senate
KEYWORDS: calif; senator

Jeeze, even the Dems are asking this question.

The answer is simple : ANY FREEKIN ONE

I would vote for Ray Nagin’s hot, hot, bent spoon to replace that miserable wretch.

Absolutely Not...Kamala “I love murderers” Harris
Another Absolutely Not.....Loretta “I became Hispanic” Sanchez

The only one I know of also is Ron Unz...Not sure about him except Ron Paul is endorsing him. Need to look further into this dude.

Thanks, I will check on him. We have 12 Republicans running for Senator and one paragraph on each to decide.

I think Ron Unz ran for governor at one time.

I would vote for Tom Del Beccaro if I still lived there. I know him personally as I worked politically with him a lot when I lived there, he’s a good guy.

Just checked on him and the NRA gave him an A. That’s a major plus.

I would vote for Tom Del Beccaro. Appears to be the most conservative and has raised some money.

Unfortunately Del Beccaro and Duf Sundheim are the leading Republicans and are polling a 3% percent.

Afraid it will be two Democrats trying give things away in November.

I guess it would be a miracle to see a Republican Senator win. So far it looks like Tom Del Beccaro would be best if a Republican could win.

Good point, that some may not know, California has a primary system in which all candidates from all parties, are on the primary ballot. The two top vote getters move on to the general election, even if they are both from the same political party.

In other words, we’ll be faced with the choice between evil kamala harris or stupid lorretta sanchez.

As much as I hate to say it, it looks like our best choice is to vote for stupid and ineffective over evil competency.

It is probably too much to expect the CA GOP to use the system to get one strong person in the end?
