If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.
Anyway, here's my choice.

Trump has my vote because he can, maybe, win on the first ballot, and I do not want the convention to go to a second ballot. I’d like to see President Trump nominate Senator Cruz to the Supreme Court on his first day in office. (1) Cruz is a scholarly and reliable constitutional conservative, and (2) the other Senators hate him so much that he might get confirmed on the day he is nominated just so they can be rid of him.

This country is on abyss of total collapse and not a single other person in leadership gives a crap except for Sen Sessions and one or two others...all and everything is about screwing the light colored, former middle class of America of everything they ever earned throughout their lives, retirement health care...and attacking the first amendment, second amendment...hell all of them. Give us 0% interest for 10 years and take the jobs to support ourselves and pay the debts of this country out of the country...but give the country away to all the illegals and the so called down trodden...which all began in 1960 when the dems decided to enslave the black to the freebees of the establishment, NWO, donor class pigs and anything associated with the GOVT.
Pretty much think the whole game is over with anyway...at least it is for me.

I don't know much about Junior, but Hunter Sr. is a great conservative, and was my pick in '08. Level-headed, knowledgeable, and very capable. Received zero support from the establishment, predictably. Unlike McCain, Hunter wouldn't have been afraid to go after Hussein in the general.
