It is somewhat true. I feel empathy for Ted Cruz. He had an awful childhood; both his parents were alcoholics; his dad abandoned the family when he was little and he obviously has some serious emotional scars that causes him to engage in self destructive behaviors that have now put his presidential bid in jeopardy.
