More obfuscation. This has nothing to do with Trump or anyone except the people in Cruz’s campaign who pulled this stunt.

So lying is okay to you, provided the end justifies the means.

Thanks for making that clear.

Carson is out. He had someone drive a bus around with his name on it in Iowa without him in it. Polling 3% in NH and no plans to go there? Not a dirty trick. Trump supporters denounce everything about Cruz? What’s new?
Cruz is the only one in the race feared by establishment GOP, MSM, dems and Trump supporters.

Politics are a tough sport and Cruz did do something that donnie doesn’t know the meaning of. Made an apology.

As to Carson, he needs to go home and practice up on his history, civics, speeches, constitution, and law. Then he can come back and try again. He had no chance at finishing any higher than he did.

I’ve never read that book, and I don’t know his rules.

What I wrote there is simply my thoughts on the matter.

I see that you need to classify them as something less than good in order to justify your defense of what they did.

I understand that you want to elect the perpetrator to be president, and thus you don’t want to see anything bad in him.

I get it. You may continue to deceive yourself as you please.

No, it was Ted Cruz’s and Marco Rubio’s lack of honor, lack of character, and lust for victory.

Carson didn’t do anything.

Trump did not do it because he is a decent businessman. Cruz did it because he is a typical establishment politician.

Why did Ted Cruz need to say anything at all?

It’s certainly possible that Donnie would have chosen to dishonor himself as well.

None of these men are pure, I expect.

Good evening 2DV - how are you tonight?

I’m getting to the point that the replies are becoming humorous. I’ll bet you spend a lot of time shaking your head and laughing too.

If anyone has a problem they should take it up with Chris Moody, or really, with Carson himself which is where the whole mess got started.

We win if any of Cruz, Trump, or Rubio (in the spirit of full disclosure I prefer Cruz over the others) are elected over Hillary or Sanders, or whoever the Democrats come up with in their places. I have seen enough elections where Republicans form circular firing squads and end-up killing decent candidates and giving us the least qualified and most easily defeated candidate.

One of Saul Alinksy’s Rules for Radicals (the playbook for the left) is to destroy the enemy by making him live up to his own rule book. That is exactly what you are doing, and in the process you are decreasing the likelihood of conservatives having a strong candidate.

Instead of focusing on trivial arguments for why other candidates are worse than yours, why not focus on why your candidate is better than the others?

As far as the bad in Cruz, I dislike Obamatrade and other things that he has done.

With Rubio I dislike the gang-of-8 and the fact that he chills with McCain.

With Trump I dislike the fact that he has no record and I feel like I have less “guarantee” of his values representing mine.

As for the good in Cruz, he has the strongest understanding of the Constitution of any candidate I have ever seen and he has proved to have the balls to take on the GOP.

For Trump, I like that he is a complete outsider and it is hard for me to believe that he would be easily controlled. I also like that he seems to be agile enough to get into people’s OODA loops.

For Rubio, I like that he was a Tea partier and that he is very electable.

You want a guarantee?

I can guarantee you that Rubio will grant total amnesty to each and every illegal alien inside our borders. Immediately.

His words, not mine.

You still support Rubio?

You’re in the wrong forum.

What all you "Cruz is a nasty, evil guy....." Trumpettes fail to grasp is this "victim status" benefits the Carson campaign just when they were going to have to end the campaign precisely because he was/is out of money $$$$$!

Now that Carson's a victim of an evil white politician, his campaign is using that ploy to raise millions!

His former fundraising letters, emails & phone calls weren't bringing in enough to meet this month's bills.

Carson's "closest advisor and friend, Armstrong Williams," helped the campaign run through millions, like the dollars were never going to stop pouring in.

You don't have to take my word for it, Google Armstrong Williams to see what a shady guy he is.

Its sad all around but when Carson actually thinks Armstrong has his, Carson's, best interests at heart, he's selected the worst kind of advisor in Armstrong Williams. I've heard Candy Carson likes and trusts Williams too. Always a bad sign.
