Those may be the highest unfavorables I’ve seen for Cruz.
Folks with abundant knowledge and confidence often seem arrogant to those without.
Been on FR awhile...tired of smartasses and knowitalls....seen them come and go....I may be a smartass but i am not a knowitall...unlike a genius=(abundant knowledge and confidence) like you....You claimed it not me.....That can get you in trouble....You think this is the 1st a-hole you have taken up for on FR??? hehe Alcohol has nothing to do with it.
Tell me what NUB means....ok?
I don’t think they love any of them. In the end the state will go for whomever the DFL says to vote for.
Cruz rocking a 18% unfavorable amongst the GOP
Trump: 36%
Expand it to the entire poll conducted:
Cruz: 45%
Trump: 60%
Trump has a problem in Minnesota...
Twice tonight. Lucky me.
Interesting, that..
Meaningless poll.
First, asking favorables/unfavorables do NOT translate directly into votes. A candidate wins based on votes, NOT favorables.
Second, match-ups with Hillary are way too premature. First the GOP candidates need to win nomination, before meaningful fire is directed at Hillary.
Polls-as-news. It’s tiresome, repetitive, and, as you say, meaningless.
It’s a (relatively) cheap attempt to put Organization XYZ’s name in the papers. They contract with an existing call center and pester the living hell out of the public.
Iowa and New Hampshire especially bring out the silly, irrelevant and the obscure. We’ve never heard of these so-called polling organizations and we never will again until 4 years hence. Given the populations of these states surely every living person has been polled multiple times already?
To repeat myself: these polls don’t just ask two questions. They ask dozens. Ostensibly this is to obtain ‘internals’ and demonstrate scientific accuracy. But let’s consider the mindset and intelligence of a person who gladly discloses personal information from age and marital status to sexual orientation, occupation, income, etc. If their responses are accurate they are fools for revealing them. If their responses aren’t accurate, then the polls’ stated margin of error is a joke.
