The Ecstasy of Donald Trump
The Atlantic ^ | November 25, 2015 | Molly Ball

Posted on 11/26/2015 6:59:29 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

As the public’s fear and loathing surge, the frontrunner’s durable candidacy has taken a dark turn.

MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina—All politicians, if they are any good at their craft, know the truth about human nature.

Donald Trump is very good, and he knows it better than most.

Trump stands alone on a long platform, surrounded by a rapturous throng. Below and behind him—sitting on bleachers and standing on the floor—they fill this city’s cavernous, yellow-beige convention center by the thousands. As Trump will shortly point out, there are a lot of other Republican presidential candidates, but none of them get crowds anything like this.

Trump raises an orange-pink hand like a waiter holding a tray. “They are not coming in from Syria,” he says. “We’re sending them back!” The crowd surges, whistles, cheers. “So many bad things are happening—they have sections of Paris where the police are afraid to go,” he continues. “Look at Belgium, the whole place is closed down! We can’t let it happen here, folks.”(continued)

It’ll be fun watching the absolute liberal meltdown after Trump wins... with Cruz as his VP.

Might be too late for the country regardless. 20 trillion in debt and another 60 trillion in future liabilities.

We got trouble right here in River City... Roll eyes. The Fascist left is calling Trump a Fascist. They are the invasive Totalitarians with IRS& EPA goons coming after those who oppose the ‘Saintly Obama’. They are the ones, who as part of the media distort or destroy evidence of their lies and distortions. They are the ones who would commit fraud at the ballot box by trying to intimidate people demanding Voter id, something which every other democratic nation in the world requires, even the leftist Nordic countries. They are the insidious ones who publicly blame an inane video as the cause of the Benghazi murders while privately blithely stating the truth of basic Islamist terror. Trump is no fascist. But most of the Democrat party is

Since Trump declared in June, the press has been unrelentless in their attempts to destroy him......starting with Megyn Kelly.

But Trump stays strong , throws it back at them and keeps going!!!
He leads a clean existence.....no booze, no smoking, no drugs......and has the energy of a man many years younger.

I keep him in prayer......I want him to win!.....I hope it is God’s will.

Two lines from the article are all you need to know: “Four months into his crazed foray into presidential politics,” “Pundits, even conservative ones, say that Trump resembles a fascist.”
But you knew The Atlantic is a worthless piece of leftist drivel. How do they stay in business publishing such crap, such blatant lies?
I guess I am having trouble with the format. Jim, you have to address this please.

Trump is now in the high 30’s which means to me that as candidates drop out he will crest to the low 40 to mid 40’s. Why? Because polling data has shown he gets about 30% of the secondary vote. Don’t know if you’ve seen this, but it is awesome.

In 2008, Obama’s ability to draw large crowds was a sign of his greatness. Trump draws yuge crowds and it somehow makes him a fascist.

2 years at a minimum. And we should export plenty of the recent imports.

I just had Thanksgiving dinner and wondered...how many of the Syrians, or other imports who arrive here with their hands out, will really become a part of our traditions? I bet almost none. They have other reasons for coming, not to join us but to overtake us one way or another.

This is what we get for putting someone not raised on US soil in power.

“It’ll be fun watching the absolute liberal meltdown after Trump wins... with Cruz as his VP.”

That is my dream team this election cycle.

The people wave and make faces at the press as they go by. One gray-haired lady in a sweatshirt keeps pointing at her butt and sticking out her tongue at us as she ambles by. She has a savage look on her face.

This is the thing Trump knows: You can stand around fretting about truth and propriety and the danger of pandering to baser instincts.

Or you can give the people what they want.

This is The Atlantic.    Be advised.

This is not surprising, but the utter disconnect from publication which in the past had been fairly upright. “Weekly Standard”, in particular. William Kristol in particular, whose rants against Trump border on the insane. People who subscribe should cancel, because there is no insightful opinion coming from a magazine whose Editor is going on rants the way he has since Trump hit the top of the polls.

As the public’s fear and loathing surge,

I don't see that. What I do see is the fear and loathing of the GOPe and their surrogates.

The public is having a field day observing the discomfort of the above.
