It doesn’t “bother” me, and I’m not “trashing” him. He’s a politician, and is caught in a lie. I’m calling him out for the lie.
However you want to characterize it, it’s a lie: he is using one event that he had nothing to do with (Ford’s decision to move some jobs to Ohio) to take credit for another event that has not happened, and likely will not happen (Ford’s decision to cancel its plans to open a massive plant in Mexico).
So it’s not lying, because some unknown site (what the heck is Prntly?) said it first? However you want to characterize it, its a lie: he is using one event that he had nothing to do with (Fords decision to move some jobs to Ohio) to take credit for another event that has not happened, and likely will not happen (Fords decision to cancel its plans to open a massive plant in Mexico).
I am sure those cars that were going to be Hecho en Mexico would have been a lot cheaper for the US consumer. /sarc
MALLOMARS! I’ve never had them. - I like ALMOND WINDMILL COOKIES. If Oreos move to Mexico; Twinkie will have to
quit them - Twinkie doesn’t eat TWINKIES now as that
would be sort of like cannibalism! :o)
I followed on Twitter, and drilled down to the original sources. Trump did not start it, others did. The two articles being tweeted seem like deliberately planted articles.
Because this is such a change from the way Obama does things.

Mallomars are only made from October to April.
They have a Dark Chocolate covering that doesn’t do well in the heat, so they are seasonal.
If you come across a Package of them, make sure you get the freshest date. As delicious as they are, they suck if they’re stale.
I have to begin my hunt in earnest. They are getting hard to find and they aren’t cheap, almost $5.00 for 18 cookies.
Don’t worry, I don’t eat Twinkies either. LOL
Yes, I saw with my own eyes. I graduated from Univ of Iowa back in the 1960’s. It was a completely different student body then. Every student was clean cut, well groomed and more interested in studies than social causes.
Now I can not recognize the place. It is a swamp of liveral causes. I have stopped giving the University alumni donations.
You need to recall what Trump has said throughout this campaign.
Trump has repeated again and again, when he is president, Ford will not decide to transfer manufacturing plant from United States to Mexico.
If Ford has already decided to build in Mexico, that falls on the head of Obama, not Trump. I know you do not like Trump because your candidate might be stuck in single digits.
Point is the negative public relations Ford is getting due to Trump’s mega phone (50 times larger than other candidates based on TV face time) has got to worry Ford. You do not agree?
Until Ford company releases a corporate news release, all we have is news reports.

A Ford spokesman said the following:
Ford has not spoken with Mr. Trump, nor have we made any changes to our plans. We decided to move the F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks to Ohio Assembly in 2011, long before any candidates announced their intention to run for U.S. President. We are proud that Ford has invested $10.2 billion in our U.S. plants since 2011 and hired nearly 25,000 U.S. employees. Overall, more than 80 percent of our North American investment annually is in the U.S., and 97 percent of our North American engineering is conducted in the U.S.
and tomorrow he’ll take credit for the sun rising
So you are convinced Trump has no effect on Ford or any other corporations to move manufacturing to foreign countries?
So why have 40 million or so manufacturing jobs moved to foreign countries before Trump? Why the career politicians have done nothing to stop it?
Which other candidate will have more leverage on Manufacturers moving to cheap labor express countries?
You mean like some other candidate wants to take credit for expanding H1-B visa foreign workers FIVE TIMES, and DOUBLE number of legal immigrants?
Cheaper cars are still very expensive for Americans earning cheap wages due to the cheap labor express pushed by all candidates who are beholden to rich donors.
no, i mean like trump will take credit for any event that occurs that has a populist ring to it despite the fact that he has not actually accomplished anything (except leading in the polls).
