“If were able to do so, the odds are that Ted is the conservative standing after March 15 to square off against whoever the establishment candidate is at that point.”
Just look at the language his campaign is using. Everyone who has ever bemoaned “the establishment” should find Cruz a natural ally. I sure hope and pray they come around when the voting starts. All it will take is a good showing in the early states.
If not, I hope he runs third party. I can dream I guess.

Paul will be gone by Texas. Jeb will be lucky to be breathing.

I don’t think a third party run would be a good idea..Has a third party candidate ever won a presidential spot in this country?

He’s spending a surprising amount of time here in Michigan for a republican. His father has spent a LOT of time here recently as well.
Seems that someone has paid attention to what Sarah Palin said when she was running with the idiot.

Every state has Republican delegates, even New York and California.

Despite the perception of FR, Michigan is a red state these days.

Yeah, well I am pumped that we Texans will FINALLY have a chance to have some impact in the primary. I always hated that my primary vote was usually meaningless, when we were voting in late May. I’m all in for Cruz.

Whoa, so now it’s ok for Repubs to run 3rd party? I thought that splits the vote and automatically gives the vote to Hillary?

The only problem I see is Dems and independents can vote in our open primary against Ted.

Cruz is sharp. He’s targeting delegates when others garner polls. He doesn’t have the earned media Trump does and there is enough cover for action to do it quietly - while being underestimated.
Kind of like his debate skills.
