Marco Rubio wants no part of Donald Trump’s “freak show,” the Florida senator said in an NPR interview aired Monday.
“I’m not interested in the back and forth — to be a member or a part of his freak show,” the Republican presidential candidate remarked. “I would just say this: He is a very sensitive person; he doesn’t like to be criticized. He responds to criticism very poorly.”
The comments echo what Rubio told Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly last Thursday, when he called the billionaire mogul “thin-skinned and sensitive to criticism” and someone who “can’t have a conversation about policy because quite frankly he doesn’t know anything about policy.”
For his part, Trump has repeatedly called out Rubio for his attendance record in the Senate, calling him “a kid,” “overly ambitious” and “too young” and joking that he has better hair than the 44-year-old senator. He also dinged him for his finances, for being “disloyal” to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and for his alleged propensity to sweat.
“I’ve never seen a young guy sweat so much,” Trump said in South Carolina last week, referring to Rubio’s appearance at the second GOP presidential debate, when all the candidates stood on a hot stage for more than three hours. “He’s drinking water, water, water; I never saw anything like this with him with the water.”

Rubio should take some of his own advice. If he thinks Trump is such a fool, then the best thing he can do is just don’t go stickin’ that hornet’s nest. These amateurs keep attacking Trump and then act all indignant when he hits back, 10 times harder.
How about we just leave you out of the whole show?
I find it interesting that these guys use their own words to downgrade their poll numbers and popularity with the people. Doesn’t he understand that we see the current Congress that he is a part of as the real freak show.
I think that’s approaching.
