If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.
I don’t know. Really I can’t figure it out. I have watched him for awhile and he just seems oily to me.....like someone not to be trusted. He sounds phony. I imagine it is more me then him but it is a gut thing. Really weird because I don’t typically feel that way about conservatives, but he just gives him a bad feeling.

In the fwiw dept., I will tell the whole world who I support, to wit: Cruz (where most of our donations go), and Walker (who gets less of the budgeted donations).
That's were my/our support is now.
I like Trump, but he doesn't accept donations.

As much as I am enjoying what Donald Trump is doing, I still lean toward Ted Cruz.
I want him appointing SCOTUS judges (or to be one of them if he doesn’t become the nominee).
I certainly think Donald Trump should have a cabinet post. Something where he can make a difference, not a ceremonial post.
The military is hurting, and Allan West should be Secretary of Defense. Perhaps Trey Gowdy for AG.
And Sarah Palin for Energy secretary, because she’ll do a good job and it will give the libs heartburn for years!
Walker. He appears to be the only one in the bunch who actually fought the Left on an important issue (right to work), and did permanent damage to them in his state.
Cruz.
Cruz for Supreme if Trump or Walker win.

VP and the Cabinet: I’ll trust Cruz’s judgement but some suggestions.
AG: Rudi Giuliani (he took on the mob why not the DC Cartel)
Sec Defence: Allen West
Sec Interior(would include EPA, AG, BLM and other associated depts and bureaus): Sarah Palin
Homeland Defence: Defund and abolish, split responsibilities between CIA and FBI.
Surgeon General, HHS and Vet Affairs (combined): Ben Carson
Sec of State: John Bolton
BATF: abolish, split between FBI and Treasury
Transportation and Energy (combined): To Be Named
Commerce and Labor (combined): TBN
Treasury: TBN (must have record for paying taxes)
Dept of Education: GONE
Housing and Urban Development: Gone
IRS: Gone (to Treasury)
This is a starting point, I’m sure much more can be done to tame the beast.
Cruz ... Walker ... Trump.
Even if these these are not viable, I WILL vote for SOMEONE! even if it’s Jeb Bush. In the end, I will vote for someone with an R after their name.

At this time I only know who I wouldn’t votr for.
Bush because of the dynasty thing, and Rubio because of his kow-towing to minorities.
