No Congressional GOP Leaders Will Support Reducing Immigration
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | July 31, 2015 | Julia Hahn

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

As U.S. census data projects that immigration will soon exceed all documented historical records, not one Republican leader in Congress supports the popular step of reducing immigration.

Each year the United States admits one million people with green cards, their dependents and refugees, as well as half a million foreign youths sought by college administrators. Census data projects that, if visas are not slashed or halted, another 14 million immigrant settlers will arrive in the U.S. over the next decade.

Polls from Fox News and Gallup show that Americans — by a 2-to-1 ratio — want to see visa issuances reduced. A 2012 Pew Poll found that 69 percent of Americans want to place greater restrictions on who was allowed into the United States.

By the millions, federal visas are shipped out to many of the poorest and least-developed countries. As a consequence of this federal visa policy, today one in four Americans is either an immigrant or a child of an immigrant. Entire states, consider California and its 55 electoral votes, no longer elect Republicans. That’s at least partly because so many visas have been used to bring in foreign citizens who support big government....

Just like they refuse to do anything else remotely conservative.

CW2. Let’s make it peaceful. Give us just one single state with a port. Just one. Then leave us TF alone. We’ll see where we stand in 10 years - the 49 vs 1.

Neither Trump or Cruz support reducing legal immigration.

Trump has already said he will legalize the illegals already here. Cruz had wanted to increase worker visas.

Someone send this to Team Trump. He needs to know that he found the winning issue, and needs to stay 100% strong on it, if he wants to win.

Any hint of softening his stance on illegals, and he’ll plummet in the polls.

He said he would send them all back and only let the ‘good’ ones back in under the visa laws...he said that today...

Let’s not confuse legal immigration with illegal immigration.

that will change if Trump is the next sitting POTUS and Cruz is the next sitting V.P.

If Trump will just stay rock solid on this issue, the American people will put him in the White House.

We'll demand that he fulfills that promise after he's sworn in, and I think he will. He's not the type to welch on a deal.

Having Ted as his VP will also help. A lot.

Trump has never said he will reduce legal immigration. We bring in 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants a year. This thread is about legal immigration.

I’m disappointed with my rep, Luke Messer (Mike Pence’s replacement.)
It looks like he’s become one of Juan Boehner’s weepy cabana boys.

Re: “Polls from Fox News and Gallup show that Americans — by a 2-to-1 ratio — want to see visa issuances reduced.”

I don't believe it. Or, perhaps I should say I want to read the exact questions that were asked in the polls.

I post or comment about LEGAL immigration almost every week at Free Republic - because new immigrant citizens vote 80% for the Democrat Party.

My LEGAL immigration-based warnings about the political future of the USA have been essentially ignored at FR for quite a few years now.

That shock comes after Free Republic almost single handedly destroyed the Bush-McCain Amnesty in 2006 and the Senate Amnesty in 2007.

I doubt that more than 25% of the readers at Free Republic now support a meaningful reduction in LEGAL immigration.

Politically, the game is almost over for American Conservatives because of massive LEGAL immigration.

And for some reason, almost no one seems to care.

They all figure people here will vote how they have in the past which lately has been nearly 50/50 in presidential years.
Dems figure they’re adding to their base and Pubbies are afraid of losing more ground in the minority vote.

Nobody is talking frankly about the demographic problems we face. Congress knows we need more young people [so they say] to fund the retirement of the boomers.

But the FED creates money every day... It’s no secret. As the baby boomers retire the FED will just continue quantitative easing as always.

How can they tell us we need more young Mexicans and Pakistanis to hold up the system, when the population of the planet must be reduced. Fewer and fewer people are going to be working because of tremendous automation in the next decade.

So we have more obligations to retirees, less jobs no matter if there are bodies to fill them... and a Federal Reserve who prints money for their own purposes, but say they can’t for SS.

None of this adds up.

No matter what happens, the world is awash with too many migrants... jobs will be unavailable anywhere... and our ‘leaders’ keep telling us we have to take in more jobless Pakistanis, Africans and Mexican.... NOT!

Hey, wait a minute.

If the population of the planet must be reduced. And automation by robotics means “NO HUMANS NEED APPLY”

AND the government is telling us they know better than us why immigration is ‘necessary’.

They are lying to us.

Even if we need young people to pay taxes to keep SS viable... there won’t be any jobs anyway. We’ve been warned about this over and over. I understand Trucking is to be impacted soonest. Together with pharmacology, radiology, and many surgeries, including lasik.

Not to mention fast food... which is going to impact the whole spectrum of employment.

No, this has more to do with world migration out of the hellholes and into the safe havens.. and we are not being consulted or listened to by EITHER SIDE.

There is NO SIDE FOR NATIVISM... get used to that word because we are going to hear it alot.

The French, Italian, and Spanish are being over run as we speak... the scenes from Calais are terrifying.

Africa and Asia are erupting with excess humanity... there is no other way to say it... and we are expected to do ‘our fair share’ .. to take in these breeding hordes.

That’s what they are... breeding hordes who have burst their natural habitat.

Can you imagine what America is going to look like? Can you imagine the riots, the urban terrorism, once we have double the trouble?

ALL THIS, while our entire paradigm for employing the population goes through the largest transformation since the Industrial Revolution... except this time... the NEW JOBS AREN’T GOING TO BE THERE.

7-9 billion different kinds of people, trying to peacefully divide up diminishing resources and real estate.

We are being lied to. And this is the most important subject of THIS and EVERY election from here on out!
