The Kochs freeze out Donald Trump
Politico ^ | 7/29/15 5:16 AM EDT | KENNETH P. VOGEL

The Koch brothers are freezing out Donald Trump from their influential political operation — denying him access to their state-of-the-art data and refusing to let him speak to their gatherings of grass-roots activists or major donors.

Despite a long and cordial relationship between the real estate showman and David Koch, as well as a raft of former Koch operatives who are now running Trump’s presidential campaign, the Koch political operation appears to have concluded that Trump is the wrong standard-bearer for the GOP. And the network of Koch-backed policy and political outfits is using behind-the-scenes influence to challenge Trump more forcefully than the Republican Party establishment — by limiting his access to the support and data that would help him translate his lead in the polls into a sustainable White House campaign.

Trump is the only candidate in the field who has refused donations from rich donors. That single issue is why I like Trump candidacy. There will be no man behind the curtain pulling the strings.

They know that he is one guy that they can’t buy or control. The Koch brothers see someone like Trump as extremely destructive to their game plan.

Maybe — just maybe — the Kochs have decided that Trump can manage the money side of things on his own. Perhaps they want to give monry to people who have more need of assistance.

Trump already tweeted about it. Said something like he likes them but doesn't need their money. Check out this photo. Look at the size of his head

I really like the Koch Brothers (members of my P.B. Club), but I don't want their money or anything else from them. Cannot influence Trump!

Trump doesn’t owe favors. That is Yuge. It must be tough for the Kochs to realize they can’t own the candidate who is leading by a good margin.

It is LIBRE, a Hispanic group involved with the Koch Bros., who are opposed to Trump. They are the ones calling the shots on his exclusion.

Yet another hit piece from the Democratic Party shills and left wing dopes of Politico? How can Trump be denied access to the Koch brothers major donors when Trump is not seeking money from anybody?
Also how are the Koch brothers suddenly the good guys when Politico, the Democrats, Harry Reid etc have spent the last 6 years making the Koch brothers out to be the devil incarnate?

The effin Koch Brothers and their RNC minions are the reason why workers that pay 17K-20K per year in premiums (combined employer/employee)that prior to Obama/Romney care paid zero for things like having a baby or a hysterectomy or any other hospital stay now have to pay $2,000-$4,000.

This isn’t even being discussed.

It is a communist assault on the middle class.

INTOLERABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Donald don’t need no stinking Koch brothers!

Somehow he’s managed to be heard and understood by millions.

Go Trump!

That is true not only for the Koch brothers but for all the other power brokers hanging around the political process.

So much the better for Trump and ultimately the country-- no one can smear him with their Reid-like Koch paranoia.

That’s right. And, you know it drives people like Rove crazy. Trump will never owe him a dime. He just can’t be bought.
