I’ve seen phony opposition. Like McConnell splitting out the “defund amnesty” portions from the DHS funding bill, planning to send it to Obama separately (like he’d sign it), talking tough, then giving Obama everything he wanted anyway.
I’ve heard tough talk from Boehner, only to have him cave.
People remember the tough talk and not the cave.
One thing Rush didn’t cover- maybe elections don’t matter anymore and the pubbies don’t have to try to stay in power, all they need to do is appease the true vote-counters.
Or, maybe there’s something else at work here: A continued Divine plan to ensure that conservatives are disenfranchised, so that liberals will continue hold power and continue to destroy the American economy. Economic ruin is one of the Lord’s judgments for a society committed to sin, if I understand the pattern expressed in Revelation 8-9. So are internal turmoil, injustice, wars.... Suffering can lead to repentance by some. By eagerly embracing things the Creator has expressly said are an abomination to Him- murder of innocents/”Molech worship” (infanticide), rampant divorce, homosexuality, to name a few— this society certainly deserves it. But who knows?

C'mon Rush! You're smarter than that! They've been mush for a long, long time. In 2010 they were 100% mush, the difference is that they were in the minority and couldn't be expected to stop obama and reid. So they could do their dishonest playhouse 90 and act the outraged patriot and all that flat out BS. It was all an act...and now that they've got the majority the mush rises to the surface.

I think what he says about Trump is already understood by everyone here. They can’t buy Trump. They can’t control him. They can’t stop him either. They took their best racism shot and missed. HE WENT UP. Then they rallied around “song bird” McCain. Trump went up. Now after those and many other streotypes — all have failed.
Their new stategy is to force “details and policies” and hope they can exploit those. I have real news for them— they will force nothing on Trump.
Bush has raised $109 million in “pay for play” extortion? Trumps Boeing 757 cost that much with sales tax!!! Trump doesn’t do “pay for play”.
I guarantee that Trump can match bush on the number of policies and details bush babbles out.
But one policy has helped us make up our minds more than any other. We want the Mexican border sealed shut!! No MAS!!
