The national Democratic Party released a new video Thursday that connects the entire Republican presidential field to the immigration remarks made by real-estate magnate Donald Trump.
The Democratic National Committee's video is titled, "Retrumplican Party."
The brief clip intersperses some of Trump's most controversial comments with the other GOP candidates' own statements against illegal immigration.
"Trump may be running for president," the video concludes, "but his ideas are running the party."
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential front-runner, also recently tried to tie other Republicans' immigration positions to Trump. The real-estate developer has been at the center of a media maelstrom since his June 16 campaign launch, when he railed against the "rapists" and drug runners he said Mexico was sending to the US.
"I feel very bad and very disappointed with him and with the Republican Party for not responding immediately," Clinton said Tuesday....

You’re funny! Did you know that Trump, except for a period of ten years, has always been a Republican?
His ‘statements’ are doing a superb job of shining the light of truth on RINOs. Trump makes Sen.Cruz look like a moderate.
The DNC “IS” the KKK.... Check history, it’s true.
Liberals usually come up with third-grade level terms. They think that makes their college days worthwhile instead of being only fit to serve coffee at Starbuck$.
`Retrumplican’ That’s what I’d expect from the Democrats and their `pub buddies, some even here on FR.
What year was it that the wishes of illegal aliens and their lobbies trumped the wishes of the American people?
I’m guessing that it had to be about `93, when Harry Reid was planning to introduce a bill banning “anchor baby” citizenship, Dingy actually calling it “insane”.
Then the Democrats found that the parents of the anchors were voting Democratic. Then it was no longer crazy to use the term “anchor baby”. It was racist.
And since then the Republicans have found themselves biddable: bought and sold by the US Chamber of Commerce, the SEIU, La Raza and any number of organizations, as well as basking in flattery from the Democrats and their MSM organs as “moderate statesmen” (See the AP stylebook) all of these anti- American groups having goals that are not consonant with what is in America’s best interests: actual immigrants who have followed our immigration laws, and will be contributing, vital new Americans—not takers, criminals: murderers/rapists/drug pushers/prisoners and useless drags on our society.
Go Donald Trump. Tell it like it is!
His statements are hand picked to do so. A close examination of his past reveals someone much more closely aligned with the Democrats or the GOP E he is blasting now for political points.
He registered as a Republican in 2009, same year he married a woman from Slovenia. Coincidence?
Slovenia was abused by communists, fascists, Nazis, and Islamic armies. Pillow talk matters.
Weak and Yaaaawn. Dems are HilldaDrats
I wasn’t expecting the Democrats to HELP US REPUBLICANS, but if they want to - that is JUST GREAT.
So the Dems are screaming to the country that Republicans support Border Security - VERY NICE. Maybe not true in most cases...but certainly true for Trump/Cruz...so, to the Democrats, THANK YOU, for helping to get our message out.
12% “one time” tax on the “wealthy”
Legalize drugs and tax them.
Abortion views changed.
Back and forth on gun control.
Gay views changed over time.
He blows around on the political winds, espousing whatever view helps him at the moment, much like Romney and McCain before him.
Just like Reagan. So what.
He is the only one who is talking truth to facts. That’s why he is #1.
You obviously know little of Reagan. The only thing you can compare is some people labeled him as pro-abortion for allowing abortion when the mother’s life was in danger. To paraphrase him, he never knew that they could twist it that far. I knew I should have left abortion off of it, and replaced it with any one of the myriad places where Trump’s position is carefully selected to gain advantage, not reflect his beliefs.
Ironically, the RNC probably wouldn't have the guts to put out a video like this where the Republican candidates are expressing the same populist view held by the majority of Americans. So let's just pass the popcorn as the 'Rats hurt themselves with their anti-American video.
You are so out of it, its hilarious!
Thanks for the review. Will have to watch :)
Ronald Reagan was my governor in California. I know his history.
You assume a great deal and look, well, prejudiced against Trump.
Thanks for the ping!
Then he said it again Using the same emphasis...."All Mexicans" were..... It was very noticeable.
Don’t be ridiculous. Oprah in that context just made you perk up and listen.
Trump may very well be the new McCain.
"Reporter"? More accurately, distorter.
I'm not the biggest Trump fan in the world, but you have to give him credit for raising consciousness (stole that term from the left, LOL) on illegal immigration from Mexico. Plus, the tragic killing of an innocent young lady by an illegal alien in San Francisco (with a gun registered to a federal agent!) further amplified Trump's point.
The 'Rats are just plain stupid trying to make political hay by ridiculing and distorting Trump's remarks. Of course, Trump was only referring to illegal aliens from Mexico crossing the border, NOT all Mexicans. Yet of course lefty media does the 'Rats work for them by deliberately misstating what Trump said.
