Yes, Perry already went to the dark side on this, along with Jeb, Rubio, Graham, Huckabee, Pataki, Christie.....am I missing anyone?
AT least those.
Don’t confuse a couple of coincidences with being a valid analogy.
When Trump has been Governor of a major state and spent 30 years giving conservative talks and editorials and commentaries, get back to me with that analogy.
I love that Trump is ruffling the feathers he’s ruffling - but please, don’t insult with such an absurd analogy.
I’m interested to see what Rickie Sweater Vest will say about this. He called Cruz a “bomb thrower” so I’m sure he’ll wimp out on this too.
Santorum is a certified clown. Nothing more.
A lesson so so many Freepers refused to learn four years ago.....
OK...maybe early Reagan but I’d ask you to prove it, not many would say it when he was ready to run for president, and unlike Trump Reagan was always a gentleman who knew how to accept criticism with class.
It helps a little when you are given a billion to start and Trump’s stated wealth is a little suspect to say the least given that he was.in bankruptcy not so long ago.
Screw the “Washington Cartel” as Ted Cruz refers to politicians and likely the Charlie Black’s.
Oh really?
Well, they can all pool their votes and try to push their favorite RINO over the finish line. The people will be voting for someone who's not afraid to spit the left's eye.
Yes really Google Reagan Ford 1976.
These guys think they are selling soap. They need to leave our country.
Agreed.
“No one took actor Ronald Reagan seriously either.”
Exactly. BIG DIFFERENCE this time. Trump has money and he has a message. They ignore him at their own peril. Cruz understands how he’s connecting - others, I suspect, are so INSULATED from the base of the party (and entire country, when talking about open borders) that they simply cannot comprehend how Trump is connecting.
Personal wealth or business?
The hardest thing in business is to hold onto the wealth you have created for the company and yourself. He’s doing a good job it would seem.
“Don’t need the minority votes to win!! Whites still make up 70% of the country, just get the working-person’s vote”
Hmmm, sounds familiar (tag line, anyone)...anyway, glad to see this getting some traction.
Anyway, you guys put it somewhat simplistically, but yea, that is the DIRTY LITTLE SECRET that Republican ‘advisers’ (most of them gay, by the way) are DESPERATELY trying to prevent the candidates from understanding.
The Dems have moved SO FAR LEFT now that it doesn’t take much for Republicans to unify the White Vote. Just take border security and Voter ID, two examples - the Dems are WAY OUT THERE on the left, on both issues - and if the Republicans simply STEP UP and say that we need a SECURE BORDER (as in a fence) and that Voter ID needs to be the law of the land, they will get millions of (white) Democrat crossovers, and the Dems will not know what hit them.
Look at the South in 2014. 30 years ago we were SOLID DEMOCRAT...now we’re SOLID REPUBLICAN. The blacks are still back there with the Democrats (they’re hopeless), but nearly half of the Hispanics here now vote Republican. Why? Because they own guns too, and they want work (not laziness) to be rewarded, and they are not too fond of a political party that panders to MS-13 for votes.
