TPA, TAA, TPP, TED CRUZ, JEFF SESSIONS AND YOU

STOP FIGHTING AGAINST PATRIOTS.

TPA, TAA, TPP, TED CRUZ, JEFF SESSIONS AND YOU

There is a lot of confusion about these acronyms; about what Jeff Sessions believed and what Ted Cruz voted for. But I hope you are able to see when I finish, why we should be careful in fighting our own about every thing we hear. Sometimes they will even differ in their understanding. I was ignorant about it up until a week or two ago, when I looked into the matter carefully.

First of all not one person up there understands more about international rulings and how they could affect US law. Here is why. Ted Cruz does. Cruz not only gave oral arguments in a most famous Heller case where he defended the 2nd amendment before the Supreme Court and won. There was a case that could be just as important. He fought the Medelin v Texas case as he explains in this video. It is the DEFINITIVE CASE against the UNITED NATIONS, The BUSH administration and the World Court in the Supreme Court of the USA and won. That ruling against all the above agreed with him, that no ruling or litigation of any international body changes or alters US law. They have no authority whatsoever in the USA. So he above all up in Washington, knows what he is saying. Now let’s look at the real issue....

So you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about Ted Cruz’s years at Harvard Law and Princeton, his clerking for Chief Justice Rehnquist, his dozens of victories for major constitutional causes and his work as Texas Solicitor General? If one man in this country could be described as the exact opposite of Mr. Obama, that man would be Senator Ted Cruz!

You might want to see what those august personages have to say about Cruz’s support for these 0bamatrade deals.

At the time those ‘endorsements’ were written I too was a huge supporter of Cruz. Things change quickly in politics.

And now Brietbart is some left wing propaganda rag? Wow. I didn’t get that memo.

Good! Even more reason to wait.

We are in no hurry.

What???

The ONLY THING THAT HAPPENED....

Senator Cruz just committed political suicide with his base support. He most likely just forfeited his chance to be the POTUS. Whoever advised him made a colossal mistake.

THAT... is what just happened.

No, Breitbart is not some left wing propaganda rag — those are your words not mine.

But they do have two muckraker yellow journalists who work there. And it is not just me who pointed it out, as I mentioned, James Taranto independently noticed it too. (without my prompting):

As for the personages in August, I have no reason to believe they will change their views. What they said is as valid today as when they made their statements.

You appear to be a jaundiced single-issues voter who refuses to accept numerous explanations by Ted Cruz.

Choose whoever you want.

And doesn't this sound just peachy...

Specifically, in the TPP we are seeking:
Requirements that support a single, global Internet, including ensuring cross-border data flows, consistent with governments’ legitimate interest in regulating for purposes of privacy protection;

Shades of Obamacare.

Exactly. It was a bait and switch in the same manner.

Articles written by Paulestinians are invariably going to make Ted Cruz look bad. Are you also a Ran Paul supporter?

I think the issue here is trust. Who can trust Barack Obama? I do trust Ted Cruz, but I think here he is putting his trust in Barack Obama, who lies with the ease of drinking a glass of water. Which now puts my trust in him under scrutiny.
Also, the trend lately for the Republican establishment (especially in the Senate) has been to upload responsibilities and powers to the Executive Branch so that they won’t be caught in any controversial positions or have to make any tough votes. The mistake was made when the Constitution was amended to make Senators elected by the people instead of being appointed by the State Legislators. Now they are unaccountable and just want to get on with the business of thier comfortable VIP lives without all these votes on debt ceiling, funding immigration, or laws. Just let the President do all that messy stuff, and we will be out at DC luncheons if you need us.
So, on this issue people feel betrayed and when the Senate talks about putting controls on the President, some of us just have a hard time believing it. Are you really putting controls on the President, or are you are again offloading responsibility to avoid a really tough vote later on? Is it like the Iran deal, where they turned a 2/3 vote to approve a treaty into a 2/3 vote to disapprove a treaty and called it a great victory and reining in of the powers of Barack Obama? Senate .... you suck!
Now that trust is out the window, nobody seems to know what the heck is going on anymore and we are just being manipulated left and right. I can not tell what is true or false anymore. Now Freepers are at each others throats over this issue, and none of you guys are really making any sense either. So we are fighting because of policy differences, or are we fighting because we are being divided intentionally?

TPP won’t even be implemented until he’s out of office..

TPP has already been negotiated over the past 6 years. If it is approved as written, it really doesn't matter who implements it. The die is cast.

The same one as before...Scroll down to TEXTILES

If you had read it when I linked it the first time you wouldn't need to ask.

At least now I know you don't even bother to read what I link to.

The Establishment GOP has been helping Obama and NOT blocking him on anything.

The Establishment GOP said that if Obamacare is struck down by the Supreme Court, then they will do everything they can to keep it going.

I can’t believe you trust the Establishment GOP over the Tea Party and other well known conservatives.

Parts of it has been leaked out, then you have the TPP hidden from the public, and you want to make it easier to pass the TPP by passing the TPA?????

I know Matt Boyle. He is not a Rand Paul supporter. Matt has been great in his reporting on the immigration issue. Rand Paul is bad on immigration, among other things.

You know, it's a real shame that instead of an open debate about the actual issue this has devolved into a personality contest.

It shouldn't be about "the who" it should be about "the what" and "the what" will live on far past "the who" has left the scene.

That 60 days comes after all other meaningful chances to change the agreement, save for “mock markups” or a longshot attempt to have the vote fail.

Nothing says that they can’t bring out the draft agreements out in the open without TPA.
