TED CRUZ - A Giant among Men (With photos of Campaign HQ grand opening)

On March 23rd, Ted Cruz became the first to throw in his name to run for the Republican presidential nomination. On Tuesday, March 31st, enthusiasts from all over the state came to the Grand Opening of his presidential headquarters in Houston, Texas. It was a ‘joyous’ occasion. Americans are hungry for a ‘change’ from doom and gloom to a new dawn. His presidential campaign logo signifies this very premise, "Reigniting the Promise of America." Cruz is a dynamic courageous conservative that will energize the many angry, restless and hurting Americans into a positive force against progressivism.

The response to his ‘Meet and Greet’ was an overwhelming success indicating that Americans are indeed ready for a ‘new dawn’. Over 500 happy and eager fans went to Houston to ‘Meet and Greet’, in whom they believe will be the next president of the United States, in spite of the negative attacks on the junior senator. The media remains unyielding in their assaults when it comes to the steadfast and outspoken Cruz.

Personal attacks including the birthers’ reaction about his citizenship and that he is not a Hispanic American is absurd. Trivial as it may seem, his campaign logo was criticized as was his TV ad and even his passion to express himself when he addresses an audience. All these strikes, it seems, did not faze the presidential candidate or his supporters. In fact, Cruz drew $2,000,000 the first two days of his campaign and $4,000,000 from across the country in eight days.

Rafael Cruz, father of Ted, mingled with the aficionados expressing his gratitude. Because of the overwhelming amount of people in attendance, Cruz’ time was limited to a photo opportunity. Cookies and ‘Ted Cruz’ bottled water were given to those waiting for the chance to greet him. Attendees were given a quick tour of the spacious headquarters where campaign business will be conducted in his bid for the nomination.

Heidi Cruz welcomed the crowd and proudly introduced her husband, Ted, emphasizing that “he really cares, he really believes.” Heidi certainly has the sparkle and graciousness necessary to be a first lady. His two daughters, Caroline and Catherine, were also present at the grand opening.

Cruz addressed the crowd with his usual candor and conservative appeal, and in campaign mode told the crowd, “We understand that our rights they don’t come from government, they come from God Almighty. That we are here standing on some very simply common sense propositions. Live within your means…stop bankrupting our kids and grandkids and follow the Constitution. These are principles that unite us. They are principles that bring us together from every walk of life. This is a movement of ‘courageous conservatives’.”

More than ever, America needs and wants someone that they can trust and believe in. Ted Cruz is such a man.

Cruz either needs to get clarification from the SCOTUS on whether or not he is eligible.... BEFORE we get too much further... or he needs to stand down

otherwise, if he gets the nomination, EWarren will file an eligibility charge (since HClinton will still be dodging prison) at him and the SCOTUS will find that he isn’t eligible since he was born in canada (and held canadian citizenship for decades). this would leave BH0bama untouched since he was born on the soil... and the gop without a candidate w/ any momentum.

result: EWarren wins on a walk

You’ve been here a long time, so I don’t know how you missed all the threads on this, like this one:

Is Ted Cruz a natural-born citizen eligible to serve as president? [Yes! And I support him! JimRob]

irrelevant.

you really need to learn what a natural born citizen is and why the founders used the term.

then you’ll understand what’s about to happen.

unless, of course, you’re an agent for the dems in which case, you already know.

The last time I saw, Richard Sherman was eating crow in front of Tom Brady.

How fitting that a moron would use that phrase and not know who won in the end.......

To be NBC that’s not enough..

If you are insisting on the POTUS being eligible why did you stop there ???

While the father of Senator Ted Cruz was a legal immigrant to the US when Ted was born, and married legally to his father, the father of the illegitimate Obama was only here on a student visa and did not intend to stay...he actually got deported...

Ted’s mother was of age while Obama’s mother was not old enough to confer American citizenship on her child..

McCain also was not born in the US however the Senate voted on his birth right to citizenship and decided he was eligible to run for POTUS..

Obama has broken down the requirement for both parents being US citizens and “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” of the Constitution, so there is no going back..”equal rights”..

Do you really think the Democrats wont try and stop Ted from running ...and then will openly run an illegal alien next time themselves or do something along that line ???

The time for insisting on the law as it was being followed was with Obama..

Now its too late..common law marriage becomes legal after seven years..our common law president is about to throw the bouquet...

Though the Democrats may try, what if any legal grounds have they got left to use ???

If we had been successful in getting rid of Obama on his ineligibility then Ted might not have a chance to run...however Obama is still here and now there’s no argument that Ted is also eligible..

American citizen mother, non-citizen father...both have those...

The Democrats would have to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Obama was born in the US somewhere...and they cannot...

so the fact that Ted was born in Canada is a moot point...

Until such time as the Constitution is amended to remove the natural born citizen clause, accordingly only those candidates who are born in the jurisdiction of the United States of America as the child of two U.S. citizen parents will be regarded as eligible for my consideration of their eligibility and qualification to serve as a President or Vice President. I swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; so I am obligated by oath to honor the natural born citizen clause as the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court John Jay intended when writing about the drafting of the Constitution’s natural born citizen clause. Chester A. Arthur, Barack Hussein Obama, John McCain, Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal, and Ted Cruz do not qualify to receive such consideration due to the foreign citizenship of one or both parents and/or the child’s own birth within a foreign jurisdiction and perhaps with foreign citizenship at birth. Any political party who seeks to gain my vote and support for such an office defined by the Constitution must present a candidate which meets the minimum Constitutional qualifications we can all support in good conscience and compliance with our oath of loyalty to the Constitution.

So you’re birthering Cruz? Despite Obama actually being President?

McCain was born in Panama.

It’s a nonsense argument. Cruz is eligible to be President.

If you're a federal judge that's an interesting opinion.

If you're not. No one cares. I sure as hell don't.

I can see it’s clear you don’t understand the history, purpose or meaning of the Natural Born requirement.

You can start correcting your thinking here:

and here:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3275080/posts?page=35#35

And pay particular attention to the legal distinction between the terms ‘residence’ and ‘domicile’.

Cruz either needs to get clarification from the SCOTUS on whether or not he is eligible.... BEFORE we get too much further... or he needs to stand down

Ted Cruz is a brilliant Constitutional Lawyer. He would not waste time, energy and money running unless he knew that he was Constitutionally eligible. And, this is from THE DAILY CALLER: "Famed Harvard Law School professor Alan Dershowitz ranks Sen. Ted Cruz among the school’s smartest students, adding that the Canada-born Texan can run for president in 2016."
