Sarah Palin has called out Beltway Republicans for “deflated balls.”
Pointing to the New England Patriots as a cautionary tale, the conservative starlet warned her party to stand up to President Obama’s agenda.
“That GOP leadership, that establishment, they’ve got to get their stuff together. I love what they believe in, I believe in it too. But they’ve got to get tough, man. You know what? It’s not just the New England Patriots who are dealing with deflated balls right now,” the former Alaska Governor told The Blaze on Thursday.
Palin was referring to the controversy over whether the NFL team purposefully defeated footballs at their game last Sunday to gain an advantage over the Indianapolis Colts.
Palin made the comments in Las Vegas, where she is currently filming the second season of her Sportsman Channel show “Amazing America”
“The GOP had better go on offense … Being in the majority there in D.C. — we’re blowing it if we just bend our back,” she warned.
She also weighed in on the contenders lining up to represent the party in the upcoming White House race, confirming "of course" she would be interested in considering a run, speaking to the press during a service event at the Salvation Army in Vegas.

She’s a very lovable and likable person. And this fact along with the fact that she’s traditional and grounded is likely the reason that progressives and leftists hate her. She’s everything that they can never be.

Now that Sarah has defined the problem as the Beltway Republicans having “deflated balls” perhaps we can have Joni Ernst surgically excise said deformities. Then the castrated Beltway Republicans can be replaced by Republicans with non-deflated balls.
The woman has a sense of humor and good timing. She generates a lot of hatred and adoration for being herself.
I do not think she is electable to POTUS, but then people said the same about Ronald Reagan. What a time that would be.
Of course, one can expect a percentage of Freepers to complain she is a RINO because she doesn’t precisely follow their script. That is not Sarah and that is very likely not possible for anyone.
Very good.
And yet, those are not qualities I associate with stupidity.
