GOP's Sessions: Obama's amnesty 'worse than you think'

WASHINGTON – Phone lines are melting on Capitol Hill with outraged citizens calling their elected representatives to complain about the president’s order effectively granting amnesty to illegal immigrants.

A number of Capitol Hill offices closed today for the Thanksgiving recess, but aides report hearing from upset voters even at the offices in lawmakers’ home states.

The offices of Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky., and Ted Cruz, R-Texas, confirmed a flood of complaints, and an aide to Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., told WND, “We are getting tons of phone calls to block executive amnesty.”

“I don’t think the American people are mad at immigrants. They fully understand that immigrants would like to come to America. They’re mad at their government and their politicians. That’s what the anger is about, because we refuse to do the right thing,” Sessions said today in remarks made at the Heritage Foundation in Washington....

Guess those representative clowns never heard of Ellis Island and what it was for. And why it was on an island.

The EXEMPT have been “busy” for 6 years enabling
open borders, the Moslem Brotherhood (al Qaeda),
Benghazi weapons transfers and their coverup,
IRS abuse and its coverup, Fast&Furious and its coverup,
wastage of taxpayer money beyond belief and its coverup.

The EXEMPT are willing systematic enablers of treason.

Even if the Illegal Aliens do not get work permits, they already are getting Millions In Monthly Welfare Checks

Judicial Watch JULY 14, 2009

http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2009/07/illegal-aliens-get-monthly-welfare-checks-0/

On the verge of going bankrupt with an astounding $26.3 billion deficit, the nation’s most populous state is considering saving hundreds of millions of dollars annually by cutting monthly welfare payments to illegal immigrants.

The savings doesn’t even include the billions of dollars that California spends annually to educate, incarcerate and medically treat the 2.7 million illegal aliens (7% of the state’s population) who live in the state that has so generously offered them sanctuary for decades. It turns out that legislators are finally realizing that illegal immigrants are draining their precious Golden State.

That’s why California officials, extremely generous with tax dollars in the past, are trying to find a way to eliminate welfare payments to tens of thousands of illegal immigrants. The move, which has caused outrage among the state’s powerful open borders lobby, would save a much-needed $640 million a year.

An example of who the state cuts the monthly checks to is an unemployed 43-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico who gets $650 a month for each of her four children and about $500 in federal food stamps and other vouchers.

Its still chump change compared to what the state spends—between $4 billion and $6 billion annually—on schools, jails and hospitals for illegal immigrants. That doesn’t even include other local government costs such as police and fire, road maintenance and other public services.

The biggest chunk—$2.3 billion—goes to educating about 300,000 illegal immigrant children at public schools throughout the state. California expects to spend around $834 million to incarcerate nearly 20,000 illegal aliens in fiscal year 2009-2010 and well over $700 million to medically treat close to 800,000 illegal immigrants.

More than half the healthcare money will go to emergency services but a substantial portion will pay for nonemergency health services such as abortions, prenatal and postpartum care and even nursing homes.

I can’t believe some people continue to call or write their corrupt non-representatives. Apparently they think that is going to do something.

Decades ago I found that was an utter 100 percent waste of time.

They put out these numbers to call for tax peons to vent and speak to some unknown arrogant overpaid political phone hack reading a script, as the phone hack is hoping someone makes a threat, so they can make they’re life hell.

No doubt they’re sending the callers phone numbers to the IRS or some other government agency.

I'm almost convinced the true plan of Zer0’s immigration policy is from a page right out of Cloward-Piven.

IE: overwhelm and bankrupt welfare, et al.

Government takes more tax money which they funnel to illegal aliens, than what is spent on our military veterans.

This country is corrupt beyond description.

I ask everyone to plead with congress that the office of the president has taken too much power to itself, and that congress must prohibit such things in the future, as:

Presidential Signing Statements. Perhaps the most unconstitutional of actions, because they assign to the president both legislative and judicial powers. It nears a constitutional crisis, so this power must be taken away.

Presidential signing of treaties they declare to be “below the threshold of treaties” so they do not require approval by the senate. Not only must this be stopped, but such agreements that have already been made must be officially abrogated.

Grotesque violations of the Posse Comitatus and War Powers Acts. These both need to be fully restored and fortified with greater restrictions on the president.

Presidential proclamations that have federalized the majority of western states lands. Not only must these federal takings end, but the vast majority of these lands must be returned unconditionally to the states.

Extrapolations of the constitution that have caused ruin to our nation, especially interpreting the Interstate Commerce Clause to include Intrastate Commerce; the grotesque expansion of the General Welfare clause to create a welfare state; the recent attack on civil liberties by interpreting navigable waterways to mean all water; and the effort to seize control over a natural, normal and beneficial common gas, carbon dioxide.

All of these should be stripped from the office of the president, not just from a particular president.

Importantly, an essential part of our system of government is not that the president may be compelled to perform his duties; but that the other two branches can *prevent* the president from carrying out activities for which he is neither empowered nor authorized by our constitution.

The presidency must be reduced to proper function before it destroys our nation.

Now that really makes me sick. We are done for. Everything my ancestors fought for (seven in the Rev. War of 1776) flushed down the toilet.
