Self-Awareness Deficit: Lena Dunham Posts Photo of Baby 'Voting for Wendy Davis'

Although Wendy Davis is known at the moment for attacking her gubernatorial opponent Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott because he's in a wheel chair, she became nationally infamous over her support for late-term abortion. Throughout the past year of watching her campaign we've learned Davis isn't alone in her lack of class. In fact, her supporters share just as much of a deficiency in self-awareness as Davis herself.

Over the weekend actress and writer Lena Dunham, who starred in President Obama's "my first time" video for the 2012 election, posted a photo of herself with a baby saying, "This is Shay. He's voting Wendy Davis." Naturally, Davis responded....

No. In fact I have noticed that the more disgusting a subject is, no matter if it’s ebola or ISIS or whatever, they are for it...because decent people aren’t. It’s a very curious position to take as a human being.

It isn't that she has a weight problem - so many of us do.

It's that she can get a starring role in the culture merely based on - what? - skanky mentality.

If Lena Dunham could process moral thought and (as many of us have a hard time doing) act properly on it, yeah, she'd still have a weight problem, but she wouldn't be hard to take at all. The ugliness comes from the inside of her brain, not the exterior of the rest of her body.

Luckily for Lena, she can fix that - if she really wants to. Hollywood shoveling money her way makes it hard to get her to make a life course correction.
