Another avalanche of bad polls for Senate Dems
Fox News Politics ^ | September 18, 2014 | Chris Stirewalt

Denver Post: “A new poll by Quinnipiac University has Republican Cory Gardner ahead of Democrat Mark Udall by a striking 8 percentage points in their race for U.S. Senate — the challenger’s largest lead to-date among public polls. The survey of more than 1,200 likely Colorado voters favored Gardner 48 to 40 percent to the incumbent Udall, with independent, or unaffiliated, candidate Steve Shogan taking home 8 percent.”

[A new Gallup survey released this morning finds Republicans are now viewed just as favorably as Democrats, rebounding from their low of 28 percent during last fall’s government shutdown. Respondents held equal favorable views of both parties, at 40 percent.]

Buuut… - “Quinnipiac’s findings depart significantly from a Denver Post poll conducted last week that found Udall leading Gardner by 4 percentage points. Similarly, Gardner's biggest advantage over Udall before the latest Quinnipiac results was 2 percentage points, according to a tally of more than dozen polls of both likely and registered voters recorded by Real Clear Politics. Other recent polls have shown the Udall and Gardner in a statistical tie or even a Udall advantage.”

LANDRIEU SINKING FAST

The latest batch of Fox News battleground polls show close contests in several pivotal Senate races, including the showdown for the Republican-held seat in Kansas as well as Democratic defensive efforts in Iowa and North Carolina. But the stunner is in Louisiana where Republican Congressman Bill Cassidy leads Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., 35 percent to 31 percent. The best news for the GOP seems to be that the Sarah Palin-backed candidate in the race, Rob Maness, hasn’t been able to gain traction despite relentless attacks on Cassidy....

So Boehner and the gang are going to double down on giving BO and Pelosi what they want according to the reports on Drudge. What’s the point of winning if Bohener is re-elected speaker and continues to roll for the libs?

I’m not paying much attention to polls this time around, I don’t think that they are very good. Polls have a very hard time getting through to cell phone users, without that segment of society, I doubt that they get a consistent result.

I suppose that we have to give them the opportunity to do that for which WE elected them. If they do not, perhaps it then becomes time for doing what the founding fathers said we had the RIGHT to do if our government became oppressive and refused to follow the Constitution.

Otherwise, we learn to like submission to our betters.

I just spent two months in the Denver area. After watching the TV commercials for both Gardner and Udall, if I were a Colorado resident, I think I would sit this one out. Gardner’s commercials are shots of him and all the “renewable energy” he has helped create. Udall’s are all about how “independent” he is. If this is the best Colorado can do; God save us.

That could be all she wrote. 8% .... as usual coming from the Republican tally ..... plus voter fraud .... Game Over.

I’m beginning to think God has abandoned us, and perhaps this country is beyond saving.

Harry Reid will be found dead slumped over the Majority Senate Leader’s Desk in 2018.

Since Obama was reelected in 2012, I have absolutely no faith in the Electorate.

Que Sera Sera...

Just like the polls said that Romney would win the 2012 election, I don’t buy any of it.
Every time the “polls” say that the Dems are on the ropes and then they either hold what they have or win most of their seats and the Repubs have egg on their faces.....again because “conservative voters” don’t like a particular candidate who is not “conservative” enough and stay home and won’t vote, then gripe when the Dems hold their majority or increase their majority or win the majority.

If you are conservative, and want this country to move in a different direction, get off your butt and go vote for the “conservative” candidate or quit yer gripping. VOTE this time around, DON’T stay home!

God hasn’t abandoned us.

He alone allows us Free Will, and many Americans have busied themselves erecting False Idols using their Vote.

Take care of your own. We have absolutely NO Representation in our current Elected Government.

That’s just the way it is IMHO.

“I’m beginning to think God has abandoned us, and perhaps this country is beyond saving.”

Considering how this country has abandoned Him, are we surprised?

Amen Brother!

I will hold my nose on a couple votes but I went to a lot of trouble to get my new voter registration (following a move) and have it pinned to a cork board on the wall so I don’t have to look for it when the time comes!

Everyone please vote!
