The border west of El Paso between New Mexico and Mexico looks just like the rusty barbed wire fence in the picture that you posted. I haven’t seen all of it and it was a couple of years ago that we were there, but it would not keep a cow in. I’ll bet it hasn’t changed a bit.
Maybe a 100 miles has any kind of serious protection. That is the 100 miles they take foolish reporters and congress critters to see. Tools and fools.
