No Labels describes itself as an alliance of Republicans, Democrats, and independents. It started as a grassroots movement made up of citizens from across the political spectrum.[4] Its mission is "to help move America from the old politics of point scoring toward a new politics of problem solving." [1] No Labels says it does this in three ways: organizing citizens across America, providing a space for leaders who want to solve problems to convene and pushing for common sense reforms to make government work.[5] It focuses on getting liberals, conservatives and all lawmakers in between to work across the aisle to solve problems.[6] It focuses in particular on the "incentive structure" in government, which it says rewards hyperpartisanship over problem solving.[7] No Labels maintains that it is not an attempt to start a third party.[8][9] It also asserts that it is not a centrist movement. Jon Huntsman has said, "It’s not about centrism, it’s about a new attitude toward the realities we face. It’s about finding Democrats and Republicans who will check their egos at the door.”[10]

No Labels was founded by veteran Democratic fundraiser[11] Nancy Jacobson, Republican political adviser Mark McKinnon, and former U.S. Comptroller David Walker, among others. The inaugural meeting of No Labels was held at a home in Houston, Texas,[3] and the organization was officially launched six months later in New York City.[3][12] Over 1,000 people representing all 50 states gathered at the launch conference.[13][14] The event featured a lineup of speakers and panelists consisting of elected officials, journalists, and business leaders, including Mayors Michael Bloomberg and Antonio Villaraigosa; Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand, Joe Lieberman, Evan Bayh, and Joe Manchin; Reps. Bob Inglis and Mike Castle; former Rep. Tom Davis; Gov. Charlie Crist; Lt. Gov. Abel Maldonado; David Brooks; Joe Scarborough; Mika Brzezinski; and David Gergen.[4][15][16][17] As of November 2010, No Labels had raised over $1 million.[18] As a 501(c)4 organization, No Labels is not required to publicly release the names of its contributors. However, the Wall Street Journal has reported that three of the group's donors are Andrew Tisch, Dave Morin, and Ron Shaich (founder and CEO of Panera Bread and former Treasurer of the Massachusetts Democratic Party[19]).

Doormat Republican Boehner is improving his chances of helping Obama continue to wreck America, by weeding out those who oppose Boehner’s Doormat to Democrats “Leadership.”

” - - - a move made by Speaker of the House John Boehner in reining in his caucus and giving notice to House Republicans who had a tendency to go their own way that he wasn’t playing around.

So, U.S. Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C., found himself no longer on the House Financial Services Committee, along with U.S. Rep. David Schweikert, R-Ariz. And the House Budget Committee no longer had seats for U.S. Reps. Justin Amash, R-Mich., or Tim Huelskamp, R-Kansas. - - - “

These men that opposed Doormat Boehner must be very, Very, VERY intelligent!

_____________________

Last I read, Doormat Republican Boehner was “Hellbent” on ramming through the House Obama’s Amnestry Bill for Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico.

Doormat Boehner knows that Obama can’t get this done without Boehner’s help, as the already passed Democrat Senate Amnesty Bill for Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico will die this Session of Congress unless Boehner comes to the rescue of Democrat Feudal Lord Reid, and Democrat Tyrant Obama.

Boehner also knows that unless Obama’s Opinion Poll ratings go up, Republicans will win in a Landslide, but Boehner will have the unwanted problem of a new class of Patriotic Freshmen House members that are from the dreaded TEA Party.

Hence, Boehner must do all he can to not allow the Democrats to lose by the predicted Landslide margin of defeat in the Mid Term Election of 2014.

Obama knows that the only on-paper accomplishment for him is his convincingly failed Obamacare Socialized Health Insurance Tax, commonly known as OSHIT.

Obama needs the House to pass an Amnesty Bill to demonstrate that he is worthy of a higher poll rating.

Thus, passage of a House Amnesty Bill for the Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico, and their offspring. will help both Boehner and Obama continue on their mutually beneficial, joint venture of “Fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

In the four years that Doormat Boehner has protected Obama from all of the many violations of the US Constitution, the many, Many, MANY Derelictions of Duty and scandals, there has never been as loyal a permissive Speaker to a corrupt Administration than permissive, Doormat Boehner has been to the entire corrupt, tyrannical Obama Administration.

History will not be kind to Doormat Republican Boehner or his supporters in the House Republican Leadership including Cantor, McCarthy, and Ryan.

Always one to boast with a TV speech on how “sad” he is at the illegality of the rogue Obama Administration and Democrat Reid Senate, Doormat Boehner has always shied away from during the honorable thing by choosing to never enforce the US House Laws of the United States of America.

The limit to Doormat Boehner’s tolerance for obvious Federal corruption has yet to be reached.

It is small wonder then that the Republican National Committee and their donors so enthusiastically approve of the “Doormat to Democrats” tactics of Mr. Doormat himself, House Speaker Johnny “The Sobber” Boehner!

Doormat Boehner knows that Obama will reward him for the loyal protection that Boehner has constantly provided for Obama for over four very long years.

Money is NOT something needed by Multimillionaire Boehner, but perhaps Boehner would accept an Obama appointment to be the United States Ambassador to Libya?

Barack Hussein Obama makes Mao and Stalin look like TEA Party types and I never hear anyone in our so called “media” whining that he is a leftwing extremist. When did Barry “shift from the left” to have a shot at the White House? Hmmmmmm? Obama is living proof that radical extremists can win the White House.

He is echoing Rand Paul.

Rand Paul:
“I think that the Republican Party, in order to get bigger, will have to agree to disagree on social issues,” Paul advised. “The Republican Party is not going to give up on having quite a few people who do believe in traditional marriage. But the Republican Party also has to find a place for young people and others who don’t want to be festooned by those issues.”

Do these people really believe the crap they are spouting? I don’t think they do for the most part.

The Democrat party of 1960 was far far more conservative than the Republican party of today.

Can anyone imagine a 1960s era politician supporting homosexual marriage?

Yes, but tons of people here (some old-timers and many more new as a shiny penny) think he's a conservative.

There are way too many in the gop that suffer from LaTourette’s syndrome making involuntary idiotic statements. If they want to be democrats all they have to do is change their affiliation, not demand that true Conservatives become democrats.

Libs must really be worried if they insist CONSERVATIVES must compete on their Stalinist playground using Stalinist metrics, if they’re to have any hope of victory.....

‘Can anyone imagine a 1960s era politician supporting homosexual marriage?’

No, because Homosexual marriage is an oxymoron. It is a fake statement. There is no such thing as homosexual marriage and calling two same sex people who decide to partner a married couple doesn’t make it so.

Both parties in 1960 operated in a country that no longer exists today.

JFK was also a member of the NRA. I think he was the last one until Reagan.

I think that Paul having come out as libertarian on foreign policy, and then Russia on the move, and the public seeing President Obama taking the libertarian path, is going to severely weaken Paul, in what will be a dangerous world in 2016, when the nation will be looking for a Reagan on foreign policy, not a Paul, or an Obama.
