So what we now have is "the war within the party".

GOPe's vs. Tea Party conservatives.

The GOPe's are so embedded with the Dem. party, don't expect any of them to rock their PERKy boat and kill their golden goose via Dems control.

By the time we (conservatives, Tea Party) really takes off, the D & R's will have yet another method to stop us. I am sure they are working on this as we type.

Reform within either or both parties combined will never work, Oh, they will THROW US A BONE and pacify us for the spell, but they are already planning their next move to destroy us. One that we don't know yet, but it will happen.

All they need to do is KEEP US BUSY, pacified, even if all it is, is crumbling among ourselves, and that is all it is. It works, and here we are CRUMBLING, but to no end.

many of our trustworthy conservative candidates, who lost in this election, were under constant “friendly” fire from their own party or were redistricted by the powers that be into un-friendly districts.

they over performed in their races, especially given the handicaps they ran under.

certainly they performed better than the establishment’s losers this cycle including the “boat anchor” romney (use any criterion you want including total losses, money spent, percentage margin, registration margin, etc).

i hope our Lord will have mercy on us and provide a vehicle for the formation of a united Conservative movement.

Good for you but the rest of my post is where the crux of my comment is....we are too far over the cliff to come back. No nation on the planet has the wherewithall to repay 20 TRILLION in above the table debt not considering how much is not even on the table for viewing without resorting to confiscatory taxes, dictatorship, and a tremendously devaluated currency. That is my position.

Recasting one of the two parties is the equal of moving deck chairs on the titanic. This past election shows that a choice between the lesser of two evils was not the answer either. Still, the country elected the worse of the two, not over whelmingly, but nonetheless reelected along with a stronger senate and house. In investing they say the trend is your friend. There is a trend here and it is not electorate friendly. I blanch when I hear party officials now triping overthemselves to try to outdo the dems in the areas of immigration deform, entitlementality, and unhealthy care. If Diogenese were looking for a principled public official in DC his lantern would need a super tanker of lamp oil for replenishment.

Polls indicated that Romney was going to win the election. The economy is close to Great Depression era conditions, and unemployment is almost as high as when Obama entered office. Economic conditions became so dire after Obama took office it prompted the rise of an entire new movement, the Tea Party.
