Conservatives that can't vote for Romney VANITY

Posted on 11/02/2012 11:06:00 AM PDT by birdsman

I know that some freepers are reluctant to vote for Romney because he's not conservative enough. Few of us wanted him to be the Republican nominee, and for good reason. This is why I'm voting Libertarian this year. I know the mantra, a vote for Gary Johnson is a vote for Obama, but that's not true in deep blue states like mine (New York). I propose that conservatives in deep blue states agree to vote 3rd party. In return, conservatives in toss up states can hold their noses while voting for Romney.

I thought about staying home. However, I voted early and held my nose
And voted for Romney. I consider my vote a vote against Obama.
I gave my protest vote to an independent running against senator corker.

Blue enough.

Bifurcation fallacy. There really are more than two choices.

Dont care how you couch it. You voted for Obama by proxy.

This is not a game of trade. You either pick the closest one to defeat Obama or you help Obama, period.

So will Libertarins then try to segue back into the GOP??? And in your local, House and US Senate races, will you vote GOP?? After all, no Libertarian will win any office. So,,,,,why not vote Pub for at least the Congressional races? HMMMMNNN You could and still make your pt. with Johnson in NY.

I’m voting for Ryan, I’m voting for Ryan, I’m voting for Ryan. This is my mantra so I don’t have to think about mittens too much while I’m voting AGAINST obama.

A vote for anyone but Romeny = a vote for Obama.

Agreeing with this sort of thinking allows the ruling class to manipulate you into voting for any candidate whatsoever. All they have to do is make sure his opponent is a nightmare, and you'll duly go pull the lever for the lesser evil.

I'm done voting for evil.

psy-ops troll post.

The guy is impressed with Gary Johnson so he is voting for him. I know that pesky thing called voter choice is distasteful to you, but I give him credit for using his free choice to vote for who he wants and not go against his principles like I did and vote for Romney. I say good for him. It is very refreshing to see people not be afraid to stand up for their principles even if they get harassed for their decision.

In my state the choices are:

Republican

Democrat

Libertarian

Green

Justice

The only party platform I could support is Republican. I regard the candidate as a mendacious fraud, however. Toyed with the idea of a Libertarian vote, but then really sat down and read their platform positions. Too many deal killers for me.

For the first time since 1976 I will pass on the top of the ticket. I will go vote down ticket though.

DONT DO IT THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The time to act to put in conservatives is IN THE PRIMARIES

You are not going to “send a message”

NY is NOT SO DEEP in the democraps pockets anymore.

And with the places that usually toss it into the (D) pile now underwater or starving without gas, it could get interesting.

I propose that conservatives in deep blue states agree to vote 3rd party.

I propose that conservatives, in whatever color state they live, vote for Romney-Ryan. I want Obama to be TROUNCED, HUMILIATED, both in the electoral vote and in the popular vote. Also, as a conservative, I have been relieved to see Romney campaign--both in the primary season and in the general election, no etch-a-sketching--against Obamacare, against Roe v. Wade, and against homosexual "marriage." And putting Ryan on the ticket was a big plus.

If Romney wavers during his presidency, let's "encourage" him then. But for now, I say a united front for Romney is the way to go.

Well I had my posting privileges revoked some time ago for supporting Ron Paul, so I won't do that here.

I will say that life is a compromise, and sometimes you have to stick your face in the sewer in order to to try to rescue your country from drowning.

I never was good with metaphors.

Emotional idiocy to not vote for Romney.

We face two choices. 1 or 0. It’s binary.

The choice is NO CHANCE things will change and only get worse, and some chance.

Logic DICTATES we choose some chance over no chance.

And I am starting to get angry about this, I will not forgive or forget that in this nation’s desperate hour, some chose to throw away their vote empowering the enemy.
