Conservatives that can't vote for Romney VANITY

Posted on 11/02/2012 11:06:00 AM PDT by birdsman

I know that some freepers are reluctant to vote for Romney because he's not conservative enough. Few of us wanted him to be the Republican nominee, and for good reason. This is why I'm voting Libertarian this year. I know the mantra, a vote for Gary Johnson is a vote for Obama, but that's not true in deep blue states like mine (New York). I propose that conservatives in deep blue states agree to vote 3rd party. In return, conservatives in toss up states can hold their noses while voting for Romney.

Sounds like a reasonable idea in a way. I live in Kal-i-fornia and my vote is meaningless. I might have to consider what it means to vote for a 3rd party though. Maybe I should vote for Roseanne Barr, or Mickey Mouse instead.

We are not only voting against Barack Obama, but we are also voting against Eric Holder, Kathleen Sebelius, Janet Napalitano, Hillary Clinton and her apparently soon to come replacement John “I was in VietNam” Kerry, Valerie Jarrett and the rest of the Obama Chicago Thug Machine.

Think about it.

Back in January I said there was not a dime’s worth of difference between Obama and Mitt. Today I am holding on to that 9cents as our only hope.

0bama's ineptitude, crass political opportunism, and utter void where his patriotism should be led to the bloody murder of four good Americans in Benghazi.

I don't see R0mney throwing our men to the wolves like that.

FWIW.

“A single vote never matters, since no race will ever be decided by a one-vote margin.”

You act just like obama by laying out a fake strawman argument then attempting to draw conclusions off of that. Garbage in, garbage out!!

Well, I'm in Deep Blue California and four Votes for Romney / Ryan were cast in my household.

Since I believe in Miracles, I refuse to give in to the CA Democrats (Communists) and the Obama Regime (Communists)without a fight. Lots of other people and issues on the Ballot that needed our support as well.

Oh yeah, one other thing.

Exactly what do you think will be accomplished with your Grand Bargain? This question is coming from a 1992 Perot Voter, so I know what can happen when a Third, Fourth or Fifth Party Candidate robs Votes from the Republican.

To this day I regret my Political ignorance of 20 years ago.

That's been the Liberal game plan for the last 40 years.
With the Takers of America now around 47% (yes, that 47%), we are at a crucial tipping point.
Tuesday's election will decide which way the arrow points - freedom or slavery.

How about, a vote for Gary Johnson is a vote that shows you are incapable of simple reasoning or math. People vote for Gary Johnson for one of two reasons, a big pumped up ego that thinks you are better than everyone else and won't soil yourself in the trenches getting rid of Obama, or two, you like pot.

Ok,maybe I am wrong here but what about the states that have passed the “popular vote” laws?Even if Romney doesn't win enough to get to 279,but wins the popular vote, there are 8 states that have passed laws to give their EC votes to the popular vote winner.Wouldn't that burn them up,because the states that have passed it are Maryland,New Jersey,Illinois.Hawaii,California,Vermont,Washington,Massachusetts, and Washington DC.I realize this isn't techincally legally legal without being authorized by congress but it would be interesting to see what they would do.They have passed the laws, but they intended them to be used for the benefit of the dimocraps!

You know, that’s an argument that I’ve never considered. Though we all know that these states (all blue) would renege if it gave Romney the Presidency, the hypocrisy would be impossible to hide. Your argument is something I’m going to have to consider.

Most of those “laws” don’t go into force until a certain number of states do the same. I don’t think any state is doing it this time.
