Well get your idol elected with many people sitting on their rears, McCain knows how it works.

Idol? I don’t idolize any of these idiots, the class of 2012 is a pathetically sad lot.

You have from day 1 only had 2 truly viable candidates, and by viable I mean, have any shot of winning a general election, and if they win could actually do the job, and not be run over by it.

I am sure I won’t agree completely with how either one of them will do the job, but I know can do them.

Those two are Newt and Romney.. Perry probably could do the job, but given his performances in the debates he has shown he is not likely going to win a general election. None of the others, Paul, Bachmann, Cain, Santorum, etc etc can remotely hit that rediculously low bar. They are all second or third teir at best, and have zero chance of winning a national election.

I’ve said it elsehwere I’ll say it here, the tea party bloc basically wasted its energies, by latching onto jokes, tryign to demand all or nothing when they don’t remotely have the clout, or the candidate to pull it off. They seem to thing someone just shows up and says what they want to hear, that’s good enough.. ITS NOT! Reagan just didn’t show up and say, a bunch of conservative things, he had a track record of public service, and decades of thought on topics, not simply a talk show host with a smile and sound bites.

Had the tea part bloc been realistic and wise, they could and probably should have coalesqued around say a Santorum early on, Santorum cannot win the nomination, but he clearly is saying many of the things they want to hear, and has at least a track record of service... He had no chance of being the nominee, but had they coalesqued around him, instead of the jokes they have been bouncing to and fro from to this point, they would have gotten their message out there, and maybe even leveraged it into a VP slot on the outside. Instead they just jumped from laughable candidate to even more laughable candidate... Perry was the only one they clung to that remotely should have been considered, but he quickly showed that he was not ready for prime time in the debates.

IF the tea party bloc sits at home because they are disgusted, they have no one to blame but themselves. They can claim the establishment screwed them, though its not true, they screwed themselves.. they really expect that within 2 years of existance they could run roughshod over a presidential primary??? Especially one where you have no candidate?? Had there been a good solid, articulate, proven candidate to rally around they might have been able to pull that off, but it was blindingly obvious such a candidate was NOT OUT THERE THIS YEAR!!!! So instead of recognizing and accepting political reality they demanded reality bend to them, and that NEVER happens. So you can blame everyone else all you want, but should the tea party voters stay home becasue they don’t like their options, they need to look in the mirror, not lash out at everyone else.. they didn’t get shoved to the back of the bus... they collectively put themselves there by basically doing foolish things that undermined their clout.
