The world is clammering to sell to Americans. When I sold retail, the Germans and the Brits would swoon at how low priced our camcorders were and would inquire.... how?
I'd tell 'em, "Volume, Volume, Volume!....we buy tons of the little boogers"...
"Too bad it won't play on your PAL system back home. (snort)

"Has the US lost its way?" HA.....this is what I call liberal projection - trying to make it be that way.... they wish, oh, how they wish.

Three (3) times in the past century most of the world looked with hope and yearning toward an American leader who advocated transcendent human values: for (1) Woodrow Wilson, (2) Franklin D. Roosevelt, (3) Bill Clinton and (4) John Kennedy made hearts rise abroad when they rejected narrow 'America First' sentiments and spoke of the needs of all humankind. He should at least learn to count...

When the next terroristic mass-destruction counterpunch, which is being widely predicted, occurs on American soil or against our friends and alllies, Americans will harden their resolve even further.
It is not pleasant or easy to have to accomodate the new terroristic reality, but when our way of life and our lives hang in the balance, we must be able to hit back hard, accurately, and effectively against the treacherous, deceitful enemies.
And finally, should the anti-democracy forces of the fanatical Communists and the fanatical Moslems link up, which seems inevitable, then the vast enemy forces arrayed against us will be exceptionally strong, clever, ingenious, resilient, and lethal. At that time, most Americans, including myself, will be very piously thankful for the foresight Bush is now showing to increase the military budget and infrastructure to such new heights and capabilities.
