It is sad enough that Bush/Ashcroft dropped the campaign finance investigation...which means Chinagate....which means national security. It is further sad that they refuse to release information regarding the thinking that led J. Reno to not appoint an IC for this (and that they continue to coverup, it seems, the FBI's corruption in Boston).
So, why am I not surprised about this latest move?

Those of you who voted for this man have my deepest sympathy. There are things I like about him and I'm more than willing to say so, but this is despicable.

While Cheney makes his debut on the Leno Show tonight...perfect timing to support the polls of the President with the highest approval of any American President. Clinton/Clinton or Bush/Cheney...above the law.
