Subject: Wisconsin Gov's Shocking Secret Revealed!
Here in Wisconsin, our beloved Gov. Tommy Thompson is having a veto-fest at the capitol. So far, he's cut over 400 items from the current budget with no signs of stopping. On Aug 1st, The Green Bay Press-Gazette, a nationally respected newspaper, carried the story on page 1. The 2-inch headline was supposed to read:
Unfortunately, the spacing was a bit off, so unsuspecting Green Bay readers sat down with their morning coffee to learn:
It gave me a newfound respect for the guy.
Ah yes, when er'the lovely lady, Cokie, heard that a senior member of the Republican Party had pre-empted scandal, by admitting an affair 19 years before, she got almost carried away. Fortunately she recovered herself.
One could imagine a rightist radio talk show host-no not necessarily the maestro himself- slipping up and referring to "my colleague (blank) Ennis". Oh, one could hear the screams of the media. Yes, the raised eyebrows of a "Petah". Cokie herself, others ranting on about "resign immediately". Maybe the various Reverends would weigh in.
Oh what a leftist foofaw surely there would be. If you doubt me, refer to the late Howie Cossell incident. (Re:" See that little monkey go"). Refer to the slip ups of some unfortunate dignitary. When you have done that, please consider how quick that this was let go. Of course, it should be that way.
The gentleman concerned, is an absolute CLASS ACT , as far as I am concerned.
Just like the plaque accidentally inscribed to James Earl Ray instead of James Earl Jones on MLK Day? There was a brief uproar over that -- where's the same uproar over this?
Ooops... wrong ideologically leaning offender.

For calling a conservative a nigger?!? Get real. They probably gave him a bonus!
What's the big deal about "Gniger"?
Oh, wait....
Dan
Yeah, unlike Tiger Woods when Fuzzy was having a little fun.
You noticed that too, huh? PC'ness wouldn't let them even print what the error was. They had to do a back-door reference to an "extra G" and couldn't dare print THE WORD.
For that matter, neither will I, but that is because of my web filter at work. I guess that is because of PC'ness too.
Okay, folks, let's see the show of hands: By this guy's humorous response to this "scandal," do you think he's a Republican or a Democrat?
Remember the outcry when a DC official used the word "niggardly" in a press conference? People were upset because the word sounded like the n-word even though it was a perfectly acceptable word.
We should call for a ban on the name Niger for the same reason.

Ahh, you're probably right. A guy can hope, though, right?
I hope MSNBC gets their asses sued off!
